I don’t really comment on videos but I have to say Daniel you have a great channel I am a 60 year old hunter from Michigan and disabled now and your input to me is impressive and I enjoy every minute you share thank you you are truly blessed.
Congrats to your baby girl...Also to your Long Dog...My Long Dogs have tracked a many of dee,r for me...Great sniffers they have. Congrats to the whole family...
I love the relationship you have with your children I am 57 years old I was taught by the best to grow up in life to hunt and fish and believe you me your children would never forget the time you spent with them St Louis in the house
Thats so sweet i wish i could have done this with my dad but my parents got divorced when i was really little and he passed when i was 12 i never remember seeing him.
St Louis in the house?? 🤔🤷🏽♂️
Hey you go girl .I'm 13 and I'm still waiting for youth hunt in alabama.i got my first at 12 .5 point. I'm going to try to get one on youth. Chear me on 🙂
@Nolan Ingersoll ummm I do not know bro.but what you hunting??.
Congrats young lady. Daniel I really enjoy watching you interact with your kids. You are teaching them so much.
I'm commenting before finishing the video, but I seen the buck and story on Instagram. I love that you are sharing the outdoors with your kids, I've got a lot of fond memories in the field with my dad. Cherish these times, tell her congratulations on an amazing buck. Take care and God bless!
Yes, he is with his kids and teaching them good and how to do things right and safe! Great family!
@@gingerreid8569 that's the only way I know, proud to be raised that way.
I'm not a hunter. What's an 8 point buck? Does that have to do with the antlers?
@@richardstraka153 yes it does a buck will have antlers and a doe has none.
Brought back memories of my first deer I had to track with my Dad. My Dad is from the Delaware Nation - Lenape tribe. New Jersey Deer Season is first week of December. We eat the heart liver and tenderloin the first day but hang the deer on the fireescape in the cold weather for about a week ,weather permitting. Then the family processes the deer for the freezer and the elders. Great memories and good eating! So happy to see EmmaLee and Houston get their bucks this season and the dogs help tracking 🐾
Merry Christmas Dear , I was commenting on this page, when I came across yours and all what you just said in your comment is great and amazing. Mistress I will like us to be friends, This is my mail david11paul61@gmail.com sorry for comment on Public stuff. kindly text me on this mail, I hope to hear from you soon.. God bless you.
me to my first deer was a 7 poner but now it is a 10 poner
So proud that Emmee and Houston got them a deer ! Daniel, you are such a great father role model. You teach your children well and they are going to be very good adults one day. You and your wife are both such good parents. Thank you for the videos! Love them as always !
Cubed deer steaks, marinated in Italian dressing, then grilled ( I use charcoal)...is fabulous. Doesn't need any other seasoning.
Wow, Emily and Houston rocked on their deer and mom said good deer meat and ate it. Can't go wrong there, when mom's Happy everyone is Happy!
It brings joy to my heart to see young ladies out hunting and fishing. Great looking deer. Thanks for the video.
I love that Marshall Tucker band music when you can exit any of that kind of music really is great thanks
Amazing job to both kids! Daniel you can see how proud you are of them. Lots of meat for the freezer! Be Blessed
When I turned on YT yesterday the 1st vid up was yours. I watched 1/2 of it before I realized it was from 2018 !
I got that one in my feed too so I had to watch all of EmmaLee's kills plus Weston's too. Saw infant Houston (kind of as he was wrapped in a blanket) and tiny EmmaLee.
@@SagebrushRambles I guess you love this channel too !
Apparently a lot of others do also, # of subscribers has gone crazy in the last year.
Everglades is the best. I grew up with my dad cooking with Everglades and I have been cooking with over 30 years. Never go with out it. Love that they have come out with lots of new seasons.
Emma Lee, watched you harvest a big one last year and, now, you've done it again!! You are a great Hunter!! There are grown men who have been doing that for years and have not gotten two good ones in a row. Good job!!
Great job Ms. Emma Lee. Daniel, I really like the way you teach the kids. I have learned a ton about a garden from you too.
I can’t wait until youth season for me it’s like the first week of November I thinkAnd I’ve been seeing a 16 point and I cannot wait
Yes go out and shoot it on a deer farm with a m-100 high powered sniper rifle.
The rule at our house was always that if you shot it, you had to field dress it....gut it, and skin it. Daddy didn't trust us to butcher, but he definitely put us to work. Blessings to all of you
Emily did a fabulous job, great going guy's!❤❤❤
I just love that your a awesome dad to take both kids out deer hunting separately, that's so cool!😊😊😊😊
That lil weenie dog rocks. I've seen hang with the big dogs and get mule kicked and she never backs down
Congratulations Emily on your first deer of 2020 he is a nice one!
Emmalees buck is nothing to be ashamed of very nice buck. Congratulations Emmalee and Huston.Daniel you and DeeJay are doing a fine job raising the kids..Everglades seasonings rock !! God bless y’all from this Ole Florida Panhandle Boy And God bless America
Congrats! Love it when a family enjoys the outdoors together!
Don't underestimate little Gemma - she hails from ferocious hunters! Her ancestors went nose to nose with badgers!
Poodles are also great hunters.
That's exactly what I thot too. Those short leg breeds were used for the most dangerous hunting of all for a dog... Down underground with sharp toothed & sharp clawed prey. Hounds & retrievers didn't really have to go toe to toe with prey of near equal size that has very sharp weapons.
Good Girl Gemma! 🤗😘
Im pretty sure all of our ancestors went nose to nose
Lol
It’s pronounced speedies From endicotte ny
Her track record is impressive!
CONGRATULATIONS ON THIS YEARS HUNT!
🎉🎉🎈🎆🎇✨
An 8 point! You make us girls proud!! 🤗🤗❤
Emily is mighty serious about her hunting. Congratulations 👏 . I've gotten to be an old softy . I use to hunt but I couldn't even watch her shoot hers. Y'all both showed a lot of class by not overly celebrating. Gotta get me a Pit Boss.
EMILY...
Girl you are on fire..Congratulations on you 8 point deer..Im so very proud of you !
Outstanding job young lady ❤️🇺🇸 filling the freezer 🙏🏼😌 respect from Oregon
Emily, that was a good shot. Hugs and loves. May God Bless you and your family
Congrats EmmaLee and Houston, please keep making hunting content, I absolutely love it!
me to its so fun
Daniel, I am VERY impressed how you and your wife involve the whole family etc. You guys are great!! I am sure your kids will appreciate even more when they grow up and have their own families.
Good job emmalee great channel too mr.arms
Hello Arms family, While watching you guys eat the yummy deer I noticed the cast iron kettle on you wood burner. I Love it, I had one similar to it when I had a Buck stove. Great way to put humidity in the air. Love your videos.
Also; BIG Congratulations to the Arms kids on the 2 bucks.
Thank you so much for bring us along on this trip!❤❤❤😊😊
My 5 yr old granddaughter watched this video with me & said your deer that you pulled off the grill looked so good she wanted to make some too & eat it now. Your youngins did an awesome job.
Congratulations EmmaLee! Great job!! 🤗
There’s a lot of kids with slings and cast runnin around the county
I think Jemma disserves a bit of that deer too lol😂 she did pretty good finding that deer for you!
hahaha lol so funny
I have been using the Everglades seasoning for several years. It rocks. Congratulations to both your children for their excellent bucks. Blessings
The deers diet will also effects the flavor when comes tasting like game especially here in west where there is sage brush and alfalfa and corn and grain fields deeping on what main diet has been can taste difference
Indeed. It`s also unnecessary to mix it with bacon or too much seasoning/spices, let the meat talk for itself. A bit salt and fresh bread or potatoes is all you need...
I love this channel it is the best
My favorite videos of you and your family is when you guys are on the farm and I am a black man country is that between St.Louis and Mississippi all my life and I'm 57 years old you made me proud brother you take time with your children
My hubbys son just made Interim Deputy Chief. We are proud! East Peoria, Il. Police Department. He's 50 years old. He's worked very hard.
We absolutely love fresh tenderloin. We’ve found that if you freeze your venison then thaw and rinse it really well, it will get rid of the gamie taste. So many people won’t eat it because of the gamie taste but getting the blood out has a lot to do with it.
Hey from California 🤗 Seeing this process was a first for me. That's so awesome that you teach your kids to hunt! Really impressive to see Emma and Houston hunting with their father! Beautiful Family ❤
I think it is great that you are teaching your kids to enjoy hunting. I wish I was able to do this in my youth, Love you show. 🇨🇦
Way to go Emma!!! Iam 78 years old and have never seen a bigger deer in the East Tennessee woods than a 6 point. Be very proud to have such a great deer.
That’s a heck of a nice buck! Can’t have 2019 level bucks all the time! God bless you
Congrats that a great buck🦌
Emmalee, that’s a Awesome Buck! Wow 😲 I’m a avid seasoned deer hunter with 45 years of hunting under my belt and I’d be proud of that buck myself 🦌 !!!!!! CONGRATS CONGRATS CONGRATS CONGRATS THATS A BEAUTIFUL DEER 🦌!!!!!!
👍😁👍❤️✝️
Love watching her and her brother hunt. Got my grandson out this year first hunt and got a doe and seen a buck but he saw him first.
Not one, but TWO awesome kiddos putting meat on the table for those they love!! Your cup truly runneth over 👍🏻
Are such an awesome family
That 8 point beats my all time best 10 point. Good job girl. And good job dad for getting them into hunting fishing and the best way of living life.
Im so happy for emmalee and how she grew up so fast and its fun for me to watch her kill all these great buck.love the channel keep up the good work.
Wow, congratulations EmmaLee! Daniel, she has harvested some monsters in her young life, she deserves an endorsement by the buck masters or something. 😃
I've never heard of anyone wanting to ruin the flavor of venison with ketchup before. That would be sacrilege!
Ain't that the Truth! Why DJ, Why? 😧
I do and Mayo
my EXACT thoughts
I almost cried when she said that HAHA
Lol
😂😂😂😂😂
I think the best part of these vids was the ear to ear grins the kids had the whole time, they really enjoy the hunting part... now you gotta get them to help with the harvesting part lol good luck!!! 😆
Starting at 8 y/o I was my Dads official rifle or shot gun carrier so I could go game bird and buck hunting with him. Got to harvest my own buck every year starting at 12 y/o. We were fortunate to harvest nice bucks that had been eating apples since August every year and the meat was fantastic!
Often it was cold raining and miserable but wouldn't have traded the time spent hunting with my Dad for anything else.
I’ve been waiting for this video
Way to go EmmaLee. Nothing better than good tenderloin of a deer. So sweet.
Its pronounced spee-dees. And yes its amazing. Here in NY we have a huge, huge festival for spiedies(spee-dees) we've used the marinade on several of our deer. We make actual spiedies(spee-dees) out of it and let me tell you..omg!
I love doing deer Roast in the slow cooker with some tomatoe juice, onion, potatoes and carrots. The tomato juice takes the gamey taste out of the meat. Its amazing.
Great job kids. Well done on those two nice looking deer. ❤
Ye are amazing guys.my grandson wud love the land to run in.🦌🦌
Emma Lee that's a great buck
Im sure the buck felt like that when it was eating peacefully not harming anyone ... humans that murder animals are evilest beings ver
That looked delicious. You guys are great. When your wife didn't want to admit that she liked it was hilarious.
Here in Mississippi we are over populated with deer. Every opening day the whole deer camp about 30 members plus guest only harvest does. Usually about 65 deer are harvested on opening day. All the meat is for the cooks to prepare lunch with throughout deer season. Opening night is nothing but inside tenderloins. They are preparing several ways but it’s a night full of goodness. Emily and Houston great job👊
Giant buck right in front of her “Good God I’m hungry” lol. Excellent job on the footage and edit on both hunts Daniel! Been looking forward to deer season footage. Congrats Emily!
It is tiny man
Love ur vids keep up the good work! I wish I had land to hunt:( nice job emmalee! Show them boys your better than them! Even though you didn’t beat nick you sure beat me and my name is nick also!😂
Congratulations to Houston on his first youth hunt, awesome job little buddy! Great job Emmalee on your 8 point buck, good shot...take care and GOD BLESS.
Way to go Jemma. Just cause you are small, doesn't mean you aren't strong. So glad both Houston and Emmalee got their deer. I still smile when I think of the look on Houston's face when he realized he had actually shot his deer. Deer in the Arms's freezer again.
People forget that dachshunds were originally bred to hunt badgers!
Way to go girl ! You ROCK!
Man, you must have been one proud papa. An to EMILY, CONGRATS, nice buck, he may not have been a 14 pt, but he was a really good buck none the less. Thx for the vid, glad you like our flavors of spices to, been using them for yrs.
That girl has nerves of steel! I hunt with my daughter also and every deer she harvest she’s way more calm and collect than I am every time!!!
You should have given Gemma a bite to reward her for finding the feast. That meat looked mouth wateringly good.
Poor dear simp bruh you know were that dear had been o hell nah
I don't even think YOUR SUPPOSE to even show a animal being hunted or killed this channel does not deserve a sun neither a like
Shut up jorge
Ya sure you deserve the poop that was in it still and I dont think they have licences for the rifle soooooooo there in trouble
@@poison_reign0946 Simp try me
To bad Kobe has a hurt arm. I would like to see him get a deer too. Maybe next year.
The small ones are always more tasty. That’s what I like to get.
Congratulations on a nice deer!!!
Great job to the doggies on tracking that deer down. That was awesome. Thanks for taking us along.
Take care, see ya :)
Danielle's Duckhead Homestead ~ I'll bet Jacobi is ready to get one of his own by next year!
Another great video
Your kids did Awesome
Love watching you all as a family
Thanks for sharing
GOD BLESS
Yep gonna have to get back to hunting next year, it’s been about 5 years, cause I been pretty sick, but after seeing what you did with those tenderloins Daniel, you made my mouth water! I go up back home in Wisconsin, if I get one , gonna try both cooking techniques, especially that deep fried, now that’s a first for me! Great Videos as always! Congrats to those wonderful children of yours and the misses ! God Bless you all!
These are awesome! I love to see people hunting with their kids and i cannot wait for Cooper to be of hunting age!
Let's go two deer down for the year I am so proud of your kids good job
Congratulations Emma!! Proud pa! I was hoping you would show a clean and cook!! Just LOVE that music!
I am from the city where that sauce is made. It is the best marinade ever! Cut up chicken breast in cubes and marinate, skewer and grill and place on a slice of Italian bread and it is called a spiedie! Upstate New York cuisine
WoooooHooooooo!!!!! Grats EmmaLee!!!!
Your should try to get jakobe a deer this year. I bet that would make a great video
Yea for sure!!
Yup

God Bless Daniel. He puts alot of effort & expense n2 bringing those great deer onto his property so his kids can b bursting with pride 👍☺️
He has preped, planted, & watered feed crops. Bought & monitored many game cameras. Multiple corn feeders & more. Good Dad 🙏
Great deer, great recipes and a great job by the pups finding it just a all around good video 👍🙂
Houston: "I haven't tasted deer in a looong time"
Also houston: consumes the deer meat within 1.5 seconds
True lol

That is mean
Kudos EmmaLee! Both you and your brother rocked this year. Gotta give your pups, esp Gemma, some credit for saving you some tracking time too.😎👍🐕💗🐶
Always thank the deer for feeding your family. He gave his life for you . Congrats young lady

You know I’ve never really understood hunting deer or anything wild for that matter, I’m a town girl from a small place but none of the people I grew up with hunted and I never dated any guys that hunted. I do have a few uncles and even an aunt that hunts and they are very much into being responsible gun owners and hunting is something they don’t do lightly but I’ve never really understood it. I think because I’m such a product of the industrialized farming and farm raised meat that I never could see the need to do something like that, now I know some people do it because North Americans wouldn’t be here today if our ancestors hadn’t hunted and lived off the land. It was very necessary to hunt to control some of the various groups of animals due to over populations of them and that sort of thing. I also recognized that a lot of the knowledge and skills associated with it was becoming lost to generations of my age and younger. Now in my 50’s and knowing all the issues and problems that are going on with our current supply of meat whether it’s beef or chicken or even fish some of the practices aren’t what we would have ever wanted an animal to experience because a lot of us would consider this industrialized farming to be inhumane. I think once I watched different documentaries like Food Inc. and other ones that have highlighted some of the conditions of these animals that become meat in styrofoam packages in our grocery stores let’s just say that it was eye opening and I started to wonder what the answer was. I enjoy meat, I like a great steak and there is nothing like roasting a chicken and then taking the bones and making homemade bone broth and utilizing as much of the animal as we can. So I was faced with a real dilemma because I don’t own any land and I may never own any land to be able to farm raise my own meat. So I started to seek out small companies that sold grass-fed, grass-finished meat(of course I had to be educated to understand what those terms meant) and yes while we are paying more money per pound I feel good about where I’m getting my meat from and I think it’s a responsibility that every person that is going to consume meat needs to take seriously. I don’t think we can just go along like lemmings anymore. Now with the Internet we don’t have to rely on what the main stream media decides to show us we can seek out channels like yours and learn what things like hunting is all about. At first I was happy because I often wondered what kind of relationship this “man’s man” had with his daughter because they are always really special and can have a huge impact on what a girl/woman thinks she can do as she grows older, when her own father believes she’s as capable as any man out there, I think she also begins to believe it herself and I think we need more women in this world like that because we can do a lot of things that men can do sure from our builds we may not have as much muscle and sheer strength as a man but I’m sure a pioneer woman who had her own homestead back in the early 1900’s did every single job on the homestead if she didn’t have a man to do it for her, because it was a matter of survival. When we are really out to the test we learn what we can do. I hope and pray your daughter never has to get put to that test but I can tell you with great certainty that with your help and support and time you have been spending with her, she is growing in so many ways that as a guy you can probably not fully comprehend. I was soooo thrilled to see her and her daddy out in the tent sharing some sour patch kids(talk about a commercial!) she’s adorable and the time you two spend together I’m sure she will treasure forever and it’s all about those off the cuff remarks or the little things you say and I’ve seen it in both your kids they will get a little hint of a smile and their eyes light up and you know they know that their dad is proud of what they have accomplished. Dressing the bucks right away and taking extra care to prepare them in special ways that you think they would all enjoy so they could have a pleasant experience eating the meat from what they had harvested. To me there is no greater respect of those animals to show the appreciation of the life they lived and that the reason for doing this is to have meat to eat. Now I know there is an element of sport in it, and I’m sure it must be an exhilarating feeling good and bad knowing that you brought down an animal like that and that it will help to feed the family through the coming winter. I don’t know what CZcams thinks or says about videos like this but for me I have to tell you I’ve learned a lot by watching this. This was probably the closest I’ve ever got to hunting(I’ve never had any interest in watching hunting shows on tv although I do enjoy fishing shows.) and at first I was a little concerned I would be really upset by it, but since subscribing to your channel and watching your family over so many various videos which I’ve enjoyed thoroughly I’ve come to have a great deal of respect for you as a person and I knew if anyone was going to show something like this it would be done tastefully and with a lot of respect of the animal. I was not disappointed and in fact when you switched to the smoker I thought wow what a terrific way to bring it full circle!! You are a very smart man and you have brought enlightenment to this old gal, and while I don’t think I would ever go hunting I sure wish I had been given the opportunities that your daughter has because I wouldn’t even have a clue how to hold or fire a weapon and you’ve taught your daughter how to do that and how to remain cool and calm so that she can be focused and be able to take a great shot. I’m telling you that by itself is a skill I’m sure you hope she never ever has to use to defend herself or her property or to feed her family but who knows what this future holds and I’m telling you she’s going to be prepared for whatever lies ahead!! These experiences are going to help her in so many areas of her life from her own sense of self and even how she fits in to the grand scheme of things. It just makes everything so much more clear and she sure will never have to be concerned if the meat she is eating was killed and harvested in a humane and respectful way! Thank you so much for sharing this video and please tell your sweet daughter that I think she one heck of a girl and is going to be an incredible woman!! Maybe she will be the first woman President!!
By the way I wanted to tell you because of your channel I began a small indoor hydroponics setup on my south facing window and so far things are looking really promising!! I’m not sure if I will actually grow cucumbers but I’m sure trying! My goal is to grow some pickling size cucumbers that I can ferment. I’m growing them in a 4litre jug and I know that way too small compared to what you had tried but I’m able to refill the water every day when it either evaporated or is used by the plant itself and so far it’s working. It’s working so well I decided to do some pruning which may have been my biggest downfall of this whole experiment but time will tell. In the meantime I’ve also started a pepper plant and a tomato plant which I just moved to the 4litre jugs today from my seedling startup. I have a Facebook page that I’m sharing photos if you are interested check it out. I just wanted to let you know that you were my inspiration for even trying something like this!!

Wow! Well I'm happy you enjoyed the video and our channel!
@@ArmsFamilyHomestead ya was a real long winded comment eh? (Oops my Canadian is showing!)Guess I was in a book writing mode last night(lol!) Thanks again for what you are doing i hope your channel continues to grow and thrive. Still hoping to see the bus/camper/RV Reno!! Something I’ve also been thinking I’d enjoy in retirement!!
wow very long but interesting comment
@@CHR1S123. thanks, I sometimes get in to writer mode and as my oldest tells me, “you don’t ‘get’ texting” or commenting! Lol! Oh well, I figure if people don’t like it they can always delete it. And for anyone else they don’t have to read if they don’t want to. I’m glad you enjoyed the read, I’m contemplating writing an actual book on a completely different subject matter. I experienced a severe allergic reaction to latex and thought about writing all about my experience and how it impacted family, and ultimately all the impacts it had on me. My family doc has even agreed to write the medical side of it so it’s accurate and relevant. The purpose is to write it from a patient perspective and to give medical students (doctors & nurses), current doctors & nurses and anyone who has severe allergies and what can/did go wrong and how I’ve lived to tell about it. My main objective is the hope that what I went through won’t happen to anyone else. I had hoped this would be much more effective and cathartic then going through legal channels and just suing those who made significant errors during my care. It also will highlight how important it is to be your own advocate (when you are conscious) and to have others in place when you aren’t able to make those decisions. I hope to structure it in such a way that it will be not only educational but also an interesting read. What do you think? Think anyone would be interested or does it just sound boring? Honest feedback welcome. 🙏🏻🥰🇨🇦
