The update is for Poland and the developers have confirmed that Poland's fate will always be either as a Reich Protectorate, or for the nation die in a blaze of glory.

Yep, the song was written with the chord progression essentially descending like a Lament.

This track is very suit with every one of partisan movements in Ukraine doesn't matter communists they are or democrats, even after the triumphant end in UCW they realize that their end is near and this is kinda depressing
i honestly felt it fit collab britain a lot
especially as how they practically lost their global influence to become a glorified fascist puppet state after getting invaded by germany

This song makes me feel like POV: you are one of the few holocaust survivors in the TNO universe. You are left exiled from your homelands; a sparse witness to the eradication of your peoples. Little concerns you but your continued survival, and you are left wondering why god or fate or random chance chose you to survive, but none of your peers. You fill the bitter void this leaves with partying, and drugs, enabled by riding off the celebrity your “last of your kind status” gives you. You wake up everyday feeling like you’re in the bad place once more and spend your mornings wondering if revenge against those who did this to you and those you love is the only thing that will make the pain go away.
