Hi, I always love your videos. Cool tip for everyone. You can use the keyboard to type in your waypoints. Whenever you're dialing something in, you can click that sort of hexagon/rectangle (with very small dots inside it) just right of what you're entering. If done correctly, the hexagon becomes blue and you'll be able to type, use backspace (not sure about "del", But I think you can)... Click again to cancel that. Took me hours to find that on the msfs forums... Before knowing that, I had the "plus" and "minus" keys mapped on the keyboard, the cursor over the knob and pressed the keyboard buttons. Still have to do that when I manually set my minimums... Anyway, cool vid. Thanks,
It says when I type in a waypoint that it’s not a waypoint like it’s not real and in the world map it doesn’t let me chose departure sids and arrival stars any help?
4:27 - GNS 430 also has something like this - intercept course can be explicitly set. I'm not sure if it's modeled in MSFS, I know it's not in DCS (it can be set there but immediately goes to flight path value).
Useful video, what I absolutely hate about msfs is that it sometimes completely messes up my fpl when trying to pick an approach or makes impossible turns and loops
can you make a video about the shortcuts? how to apply shortcuts to the different functions of the AP? i am trying to find the shortcut for NAV but i just can't understand where it is

The G1000nxi does have keyboard input. Just click the keyboard icon next to the waypoint entry field.
