Been a long time coming for this song's lyrics to finally resurface and it was all thanks to @aleinnilatibae for putting the effort into finding it! all thanks to them I was able to try my hand at translating this masterpiece into English using google translate, a bunch of Icelandic dictionaries and my minimal knowledge of the language (with some help from @smartsmjatt) so if it sounds off to some fluent speakers, I do apologize for that 🙏

Let me tell you, the search to find those lyrics was very difficult, they were on ONE site on the entire internet, a Blogspot from 2006, and that site had a glitch that would take you to an error message after about 3 or 4 seconds. It was a struggle to find, and a struggle to get the lyrics off the site, but I'm so so glad you put them in this video (with translation!!!) as well so they could be preserved for longer and not die in obscurity. I really appreciate it.
Sorry for seeing this so late! But yes, I agree about it being a pain to get a hold of them. I actually stumbled upon them a long time ago since I search for Stefán Karl stuff in general but the site kept redirecting me to a site for a spa so I had no idea!
I'm very grateful to y'all who actually noticed that and were able to preserve the lyrics, I was so excited seeing them that I had to make this video ASAP :,)
