I know MMA math doesn't work, but every single common opponent Jones and Liddell had, Jones beat and Liddell got finished by. Rampage, Shogun, and Rashad. The latter two were at tail end of career, but Chuck lost to Rampage twice in his prime.
EDIT: Forgot about Vitor, Chuck did beat him so there's that I guess.
Any argument for Chuck winning is definitely based in respect for the pioneers and nostalgia. Anyone being honest and non-bias knows exactly how that fight would go.
@@Cilent__ I love Chuck, my favorite fighter back then. But he was aided in his UFC legacy by Pride being a separate legit org back then that arguable had more LHW talent during Chuck's reign. Shogun, Rampage, Wanderlei, Hendo, etc.

DC really put Rey Mysterio and Roman Reigns on the list and left out Stone Cold. Stone cold had the biggest mainstream buzz out of any wrestler ever. Only Hogan or the Rock were close.

Usman is great. No doubt. But sooooo much of his accolades are inflated by recency bias. His resume is already aging like milk. He has five defences: two are by Journeyman Jorge, an overblown lightweight in Gilbert (who dropped him), and two from Colby, which were probably his only signature wins. Even his fight before his title fight was against a post-prime RDA (another lightweight).
Why doesn't ESPN mention Chael Sonnen and DC in this video? It doesn't make sense to omit their names; they're the main reason I'm watching!
dc no matter how it happen no matter your emotions no matter your prep you never beat jon jones idc how much he hurt fan feelings legacy etc.etc. you ran into someone you at your best and him at his worse that you cannot get over but u put on a great show and i loved that fight more the build up too it but still and i admire u being able to talk about him without sounding to much as a hater which is why i think u are one of the greatest in sport analyst
