Praise God for this preaching and message! I came to faith at 11 years old and pride has been the most persistent son in my heart. But how glorious and good is He who guided me to good pastures where His Word restores and sanctifies my soul.
It’s very encouraging to hear sound doctrine being preach it’s very rare. I remember hearing him preach at Grace community church I was shocked how deep his studying of the word.
This is what I call the Truth. It stirred my spirit.
Wow, I am very convicted by this message. I needed it, and take the correction. I pray for grace and plead for forgiveness.

I like what you said Mike. It's something that is always there and waiting to get in. I just hope i can keep my own pride in check, something I always need to be mindful of.
I know it from experience so long ago I thought I created the phrase spiritual pride . It took me down in my youth. When later I brought it up in Bible study those there weren't familiar with the term , spiritual pride .
Excellent and humbling message and recommended for everybody to watch and apply to their lives.

each time i failed miserably I did it when i felt my self safe and Confident. Then with tears running like a child to God asking for help.

Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.” 1 Timothy 4:16 Christ draws people to himself with his glorious beauty by showing us the father in himself, he humbles us by his humility to the Father. Humble yourself before the Lord, Show the beauty of Christ in your life brother and by doing so you’ll become an example to your brothers in Christ.

@@johndisalvo6283 Reformed theology is very humbling. It makes no sense that anyone would be proud of total depravity. Perhaps you think their pride is in their theology? In that case, everyone who believes that they understand God's plan is proud. It's popular to dump on Calvinists. It's not appropriate.
How do you get to gifting when you never start with the baptism in the Holy Spirit? You refuse the baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts 1) and depend upon rationalism and theological thought and not the Covenant gift of the Holy Spirit. Hebrews 8:11 and Jeremiah 31:31. But you do always reject the Holy Spirit. Acts 7:51. Paul was not refined in speech or powerful but came in the power of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:1-5. The reformed theology trains men to conduct theological autopsies. Think on that.

Anyone can get this by simply reading the scripture. Why do we nee you? 1 John 2:27. Do you ever teach the believers that? No. In 52 years of discipleship, I have never heard any theologian diminish his education as Paul does to point to the Holy Spirit. Never. Shame on the theologians. Quit your latinisms and speak plainly what is found in the NT
