I bought ipad 5th gen for 21k in 2017 it still is working fine, only con finally after 6 years (this year) the latest iPad OS (iPad OS 17) has not come to the device. The main thing is Android tab will not last more than 3-4 years max software support stops within 2 years.
Mi pads have good custom rom support but yes, you are correct here.
After the support,the custom rom makes the device better then new condition. Android never sucks bro , untill you expect iphone experience in 10k Mobile
I am using this tab from last 4 months i used it to do basic video editing and for my website work.....aur sabse asha mujhe iska speaker laga dolby atmos on krne ke baad boht bdia audio quality deta hai i have jbl monitors on my pc but muje is ke speakers pe content dekhne me jyada maja aata hai kahi bhi baith ke ek asha audio quality milta hai...baaki sab good hai kabi lag nai mila overall ipad 9th gen se boht better hai....

Ipad 9th gen vs xiaomi pad 6, especially the ipad os has very good app support and longevity, i have been using the ipad 6th till now, no issues, except stutters in very rare occasions, given how much i have used the ipad for my studies(every single day). And still using it. Got ipad os 17 yesterday on my ipad 6th gen, shows how much software is well optimized and long running

Comparison between ipad 9 , 10 , Samsung s6lite, xiami pad 6
no expandable storage is the biggest con of this tab in this price point. Even budget tabs are offering up to 2 TB expandable options. I am just awaiting OnePlus Pad Go 256GB variant to go on sale so that I can make up my mind because I mainly download and watch movies a lot so for me expandable storage with good hardware is preferred in any Android tab or at least provide 512GB or 1 TB onboard storage options too. But I do not want to spend 30K or above for a tab. For anyone interested in this mipad6 can get 3K card discount on their site directly as part of their ongoing Diwali sale which will bring effective price for higher version bit low making it less painful of an issue. For avg user if they are happy to just stream things then it is a bang for buck for next 3-4 years.
P.S. For the same point I would avoid iPad too. I already am an existing user of Apple ecosystem but its trash yet expensive compared to Android devices I own. Do not get influenced with whatever YT gurus are praising iPad's for as Android can do mostly the same with some caveats but a lot cheaply.

I bought this MI pad 2 months back. So far love this pad. Be it gaming, work or study for my son, it does the job well. Only one issue I faced is while we are using the pad it gets locked automatically. I kept screen on time more than 10 mins still it gets locked automatically. Pls help on resolving this issue.

My mi pad 6 is facing some issue. It has been 12 days and after every 5-6 days , my pdf files that I have edited and annotated are automatically deleted. Checked every setting but no use. This has happened twice with me .

Bro I have purchased this tab. Everything is good like performance, display, battery 🔋 , sound , camera.
I've noticed that the OS is still not optimised to the tab by Xiaomi .
Another thing I Fear is that there will be no further updates to this tab as it has SD870 which is pretty aged processor and Xiaomi will not be putting efforts to create an android 14/15 update .
