NIFs story,ost,actors everything is VERY PERFECT. personally i could never get over from it. never expected a whole political drama without romance could make me cry like this. even though not romantic, it has a strong bonding of two lovers which is beyond the lovey dovey stage. blessings❤
Yeah not a lot of lovey dovey but their chemistry was strong and because their scenes were so few, it just makes them that much more precious. I like how they understands each other and accept each other’s decisions without having to say much. They know the other person so well.
This film is very touching. ..used an entire box of tissues sobbing through it. Hu Ge is a brilliant actor. Liu Tao is very talented all around. Despite not understanding Chinese, I cry just hearing this song. I'm sure the lyrics are heartbreaking. Wish they would make more dramas like this. This is hands down my favorite film.
The film is beautifully shot with good special effects and the protagonist actress and actor are very attractive. This film raises Chinese films to a much higher standard that they should always strive to maintain.

Just finished watch this drama after so long of consideration and time to prepare myself as I have ardy read the spoiler. It was a good drama and really recommended to watch. Hate to see he had to suffered so much. Knowing that he would die he would do anything to clear his clan names and his comrades. Keep his secret away from his most best friend. Prince jing looked so heart broken after knowing that the one he missed was actually by his side all time. Though he had his suspicious but he still been cold toward him. I hope they have more time together. The loyal Princess Mu nihuang always be there and the first one to recognize him right away. Commander general meng that been trying so hard too to keep his identity and to keep him away from Da ling city.

I loved it, i mean it looks even sadder than nirvana in fire 1 since PinZhang, Tinsheng and the imperor die but it ends much better. I cried a lot in this series and also in the sequel... I felt so bad for Nihuang in this one and cried so much when PinZhang held XiaoXue's hands before he died but they are both incredibly amazing series. There is a Nirvana in Fire 2 but it's set 50 years after the events of the first series. I highly recommend it. Even though it's got an all new set of characters and a new story line it's very engaging and just as epic as the first drama. I didn't think it would be as good, especially because the first was based off of the book and the second wasn't, but it was surprisingly well done.
Have not watch the serie but this beautiful song + voice convinced me. ☺️ Dun know why but this kinda remind me of “General and I”. Beautiful love story. 🥰
It's been years and I don't think there would ever be another drama quite like this.
