- Hello and welcome to Scale Stuff in this weeks video I am going to be reviewing the Meng Models 1:35 scale German Medium Tank Sd.Kfz. 171 Panther Ausf. A model kit
kit number tyrannosaurus series TS-035
In this video I take a look at the model kit in the box and then go on to look at how the model kit goes together and point out a few bits in the kit that you as the modeller might find a little tricky to build
I also take a look at how accurate the model is compared to the real tank and give a very brief history of the Panther tank
Over all I found the Meng Panther late type a really good model, it goes into a lot of detail more so than any other panther tank that I have built and personally with all the extra photo etched parts clear bits and wire that this kit comes with felt that meng had really tried to look after the model kit maker with this kit
It falls short on a few little details like the bolts on the wheels but personally I feel that this little error can be forgiven
As always thank you for watching I hope that if you are building one of these kits at home that you found my little review helpful
Anyway until next time look after yourself and have a good one

Hi, nice kit and review! Thank you for sharing
Cheers mate thanks for watching
Nice!
Cheers dude
Very nice, looks like a solid kit and you did a great job making it your own.
Thanks mate, tho I think I could do better if I did it again, the zimmerit threw me abit on this model, and I think having used it once I could do it better if I had another shot at it
@@scalestuff1066 I think that's largely how it goes for a lot of us lol. The kit makers must know this, it's all a scam to get us to buy the next kit to try and do better ;)
Deffo hahahaah, tbh I don't know if you do this, but you find yourself revisiting the same kit years later, and then again years later, almost a bench mark model, to check how your progressing? I think my versions of this would be a Tamiya tiger, and airfix spitfire and 109
@@scalestuff1066 I'm only approaching 3 years in the hobby so I haven't repeated any kits yet, but one day surely I will.
I find about 6 years seems to be the one, you look at something you thinks awesome now, and go, I bet I could do that better, then the cycle continues
Looks fantastic - good job.
Cheers mate, anything on your work bench atm?
@@scalestuff1066 yeah, just getting started on 1/72 scale F-14a by hobby boss and just noticed the wrong 3d cockpit decals 🤦🏼♂️😳👍🏽🤣
Ah, hate that sort of thing, you going after market or just pressing on with them?
@@scalestuff1066 I’ll continue on as far as I can until the proper aftermarket set arrives - what a numpty I’ve been 🤣 cheers buddy
Yeah ah sometimes it pays to check them, do you use scale mates?
How come you are so careful with instructions for your kits but never when I leave you a list of chores….?
Chores are more like guide lines emma, a rough day plan suggestion
