    NEWwater is so pure that minerals have to be added into the water before it is suitable for human consumption. Otherwise, it will leach the minerals from the bones of the person drinking it.

    • @dashingheights

      That’s what i’ve heard too! Also about how it’s an excellent water source for industrial use

    • @thulomanchay
      @thulomanchay Před měsícem +4

      NeWater is too pure for drinking, its more for wafer fabrication to produce electrical or photonic circuits on semiconductors.
      The bottled ones are the one that has minerals added.
      In fact the recycled water is sometimes released into reservoirs so that they can be "naturalized".

    Hi to all tourists who are visiting SG and Singaporeans please don’t leave your valuables unattended. You may hear stories that Singapore is so safe but doesn’t mean crime is 0%. As a former National Service Police, these petty crimes happen all the time and Police have KPIs (solving and establishing subjects) to achieve, with not a lot of manpower . So please don’t give them unnecessary work for these lost items and they can focus on bigger crimes .

    I want to comment on the Chope system. The thing about the Chope system is that it isn't a law or a rule, but just a system, a system that relies on each other's trust and integrity. It wouldn't work if one chopes a place and another person blatantly ignores it and take the table anyways. People in Singapore respect each other, as well ae having trust and faith with one another. Truly a miracle.

    • @dashingheights

      When Singapore started to restructure in to a service and financial hub, the number of office workers increased.
      And in places like Raffles Place, there are limited food outlets but office workers abundant.
      Therefore the chope evolved when office workers have their tray of food and all the tables and seats are occupied.

    Nice video, but I must disagree with your statement that Singapore is a clean city, you should say Singapore is a cleaned city. Very often I participate in beach cleanups around singapore, and it's really sad too see how dirty beaches are. Also, so you showed the central area in your video which is very clean, I agree, but some neighborhoods are really dirty and trash is everywhere. Try to walk even around Fusionopolis, and you will see for yourself, not to mention Jurong or Tuas area...

    • @dashingheights
      @dashingheights  Před 5 dny

      Hmm for the most part people are mindful about their trash, and rarely litters. The biggest litterbugs i observed are smokers who ditch their cig butts. The beach carries trash from all over the place so hard to stop the waves. Personally after seeing much worse places SG is still top clean for me :)

    Have to admit. Living here for 4 years now I rarely see a table that is choped… Mostly a person will stay seated without food at a table to hold it. So I’ve heard of choping but never seen it at least in busy food courts. The trash can thing, I think only Korea and Japan are places with no trash bins. Every other city I’ve seen in USA, aus etc trash cans are literally on every corner as well. As for corruption, well, journalists have no freedom in sg, look at reporters without borders…
