i love how it says Kage No Kantai yet they are attacked by ONE ship , as later seen in other episodes for 5 episodes it should have been 26 like the others they should have had time to make it because im seeing rushed work by Leiji Matsumoto , the Original Yamato shows what taking your time gives as a final product , more fleshed out characters , better fights the whole thing gets better

(Here it is assumed that Star Blazers series is part of Leijiverse, preceeding Galaxy Express 999 and Captain Harlock series by eight centuries). though Leiji Matsumoto never cited that 'when did Galaxy Railways came to be?' but surely sometimes after Star Blazers series (SBY original) concluded. and this included 'SBY Resurrection' and before Maetel Legend (Animated shows ended with Maetel and Emeraldas left their homeworld aboard the 999)

別次元の本物の「大ヤマト零號」であって「ヤマトの偽物」ではないね、TV版ハーロックの「アルカディア号」と劇場版９９９の「アルカディア号」が別物だと同じことだよ。
中にはTV版は「デスシャドウ号弐番艦」だとか劇場版は「アルカディア号壱番艦改」だとか、超時空戦艦「まほろば」は「ヤマト姉妹艦」だとか、色んな後付け設定が溢れているけど、この「大ヤマト零號」は全く別の時代別の次元に存在する戦闘艦。
確かに『宇宙戦艦ヤマト』ではありません。
この艦は『大ヤマト零號』ですから。(^^)
『新宇宙戦艦ヤマト』のように旧ヤマト乗組員の末裔が登場するわけではなく、全く別次元のエピソードですから、『偽物』という指摘は正しくありません。f(^_^)
元々は『宇宙戦艦ヤマトシリーズ』の続編として企画されていたモノだったのが、大人の事情でこんな形になったのです。
同じ『ヤマト』の名を冠していますが、版権上の原作者が違う為、別次元の話ではなく、全く別物の作品と考えて良いと思います。
因みに、他の方が述べていた、TV版ハーロックの「アルカディア号」と劇場版の「アルカディア号」が別物と同じ。という事とも少し違い
『アルカディア号』はどれも原作者が一緒なので、メカニカルデザインや設定の違いだけで主要登場人物等は同じです。

松本パラレルワールド故のこじつけと矛盾と言うしかない。
確かに「SSX」にしても「零」にしても、装備や性能は違っても「アルカディア号」である事には違いはない。クルーも同じ（だと思う、詳細な資料は見つからない）、時系列も後付けで一本化。
でも実際は独立した個々の物語の中の全く別の艦。
未だに松本ワールドの全体像は未知数なんですね。なので、本作「大ヤマト零號」がどういう位置付けなのか、誰もその答えには辿り着けないでしょう。
ただこの「パラレルワールド」の謎を解く鍵は「時の輪」と言う言葉、時間は閉ざされた一つの輪と言う説。
かなり昔の作品で「ミライザー・バン」と言う物語があります。可能であれば是非読んでみてください。
昔、パチ屋で此の台を打った時「このキャラクターのナンチャッテ感は何!? しかも原作者が同一人物ってどうよ...パチンコネタ用作品???😅」と思いましたわ。
