Early days he used to stay nervous though
I was a skater back in my younger days (I'm 33 now) and was watching a skate video called flip and "every you every me" was playing during Mark Appleyard's part. Ever since then I've considered placebo to my second favorite band. The first being The Doors, I can't wait to hear how the 2022 record turns out.
That part in the Sorry video was epic

Man, have been promising myself for years now to head for Pinkpop someday. Until so far haven't been there yet! What an atmosphere. Placebo is a great band! Also great live performance.
I don't like how he sign "come home", sounds better and more melancholic in the original album.

@VerseChorus Verse i think placebo are in a league with other things like garbage, feeder and manic street preachers. i think it was a big fuck you to britpop
Suede are another great band of the 90s who were constantly put together with the "traditional britpop" but honestly they had nothing to do with the britpop sound, ideas and culture. I recommend you to listen to them; perhaps they influenced Placebo a bit. They have many things in common but are different at the same time and that's what makes both special in my opinion ;)
And even Brett Anderson himself said he wanted Suede to distance from britpop so that's right imo
