- the dupe refund for punches and promos cards is bugged; you end up getting 750 MP for a dupe ruby or even amethyst card.
That is highway robbery, when even series 1 card dupes award 10k+ MP.

I played MyFaction in the last games and the costs this year is jacked up. The first pack available was like 2500 MFC the last 2 years, but this year, the first pack is almost 10000 MFC. And the token market cards got the same treatment. I believe the emerald rank token cards were like 5 each, but this year it is 25 each. And they are still doing the stupid Emerald vs Diamond events. MyFaction was fun to begin with each year, but it eventually ends up being a grind-fest with little reward. The Persona cards had me hyped up for MyFaction this year, but you cant get any of them without spending alot of real money. I'm fine with paying $5 or $10 for the persona cards or even grinding out an event to unlock it, but the event should not limit me to one particular card. A certain rank card, sure, but not "this one card" that you just released that sits in pack that costs 14000 MFC and there is no guarantee that you will even get a card from that pack series.
Facts! Dang, I didn't realize the cost went up so damn much. Did 2K just bring the damn inflation to 2K ? Wtf! 5 Tokers for a card ? Dude, emeralds cost 50! That's wild.
Not to mention they also made vc grind harder before we could open briefcases that had a lot of mfp inside and pack’s inside
Duplicates need to give more mfp. Opening a back is already so expensive so things in those packs on average should total what we spend to open said pack

Jesse 💪I agree with you I can't get the Amethyst Card to get the Roman Persona Cards and they pulled me in with spending money 💵 on the VC and nothing. I am frustrated with MyFaction Rewards 😤 and Big Nothing is what I got...I lovev2k too it's frustrating!
I had a similar experience with WWE 2K22. The reward for collecting all of the Summerslam cards was a cool-looking Bret Hart card that I wanted. After grinding for a few packs and not really getting far, I bought a ten pack of those cards for $50 and it still wasn't enough to get the card I wanted. After a couple months of additional grinding, I eventually got the card. Around a year later, the servers for WWE 2K22 were shut down so I cannot access anything anymore. The end, I guess.
They are giving 750 MFP each for emeralds, sapphires, ruby and amethyst duplicates. But you get 2500 MFP for duplicate superstar series 1 gold

Jesse💪 I am right there with you it's impossible Persona Cards requirements. 2k expects us to pay 400 to 500 hundred dollars just to get 2 character attires. This is so FRUSTRATING 😤 Live Cards Requirements and MyFaction Points are ridiculously low!!! There's no way I can't continue MyFaction if they keep raising the stakes for the Persona Cards. I think it's pretty cool that they finally have an updated rock but damn dude I think this year's my faction is a tedious mess of garbage. A lot of these matchups in live events are insanely mental and not in a fun way. And this stupid amount of ladder matches in faction wars is mind blowing. I also don't like the fact that you need action war tickets to do faction wars. I have no idea if that was last year but I liked the faction wars way more in 22 but like I said finally got an updated rock and that's cool

Unfortunately you got these other guys on CZcams that completely shill that point out some of the minor bugs and don't even talk about a lot of the major stuff. I understand there is a fan base for card games however they need to also understand that not everyone is into card games, they push so much into this mode and I honestly only ever see negative feed back on it so why even keep it around. At this point they should've just went the bad bunny route and had each attire for $5-$10
Facts! I don't mind the mode. It's fun. It needs improvement. That's what this video is for. Constructive criticism. But I 100% would have just loved the option to let me just buy the attire.
I've played this mode for the last few years and they really just can't stop shooting themselves in the foot with this garbage. This is the way I explain it to most people and this is just using the Punches and Promos pack for this example as it's up on the screen. To get a deluxe pack at 19800 MFP, if you get an average of 250 MFP per match, it's going to take you almost 80 matches for a single deluxe pack and you had crap odds to begin with in past years and now this year, they are including all the bronze and silver cards in these packs instead of keeping them with the first packs released, which aren't even available to buy this year. So you have even a smaller chance to get this 1 card you're looking for in an even larger stack of garbage than you have in years past and the prices for the packs have stayed roughly the same and you still get crap payouts from matches. I've also heard on Reddit that they decreased the payouts for duplicates this year in one of the recent patches. Then you also have the incredibly overpriced Card Market and Token Market. Last year was 3 tokens for an emerald, this year is 25 I believe. I know Ruby is 100, which again, if you're doing the daily challenges you get rewarded with 3 tokens, so you're looking at 2 weeks to a month to unlock a single ruby card, if you also get the token payouts from events or towers. 1 card in 2 weeks to a month and you have to unlock 8(?) to move onto the next tier, whenever that's released. First year of MyFaction, they put the card market and the original Faction Wars out there at release or shortly after, and now they have this slow drip method with no rhyme or reason when new content/cards as far as Faction Wars or Token market will drop. MyFaction is unfortunately the only mode I play in these games as Universe Mode has been broken for years and MyGM just doesn't interest me with it limitations. I'll spend maybe an hour or two at most during the week with this game cause the mode isn't all that engaging outside of the weekly towers reset on Monday and then you got some Live Events. I don't know why they keep putting this crap out the way they do. I'm a free to play MUT player and that kept me around for quite some time. They could copy that or FIFA/FC Ultimate Team or even use their own NBA 2k series and piggyback off that, but no. We get this crap instead and I find it hilarious when people say that the mode is killing the game and it's all that 2k is interested in. Trust me, MyFaction really doesn't get that much attention and/or care from 2k.

The biggest issue is they'll see people spending this much trying to get these cards (experiment or not) and they'll think they got a hit. Despite the community saying the exact opposite online. 2K is tone deaf just like EA and they'll continue to rip his off. Everyone has to stop playing these modes if we want our games to get any better but unfortunately that'll never happen. I've seen the dude that spent $400 to get the cards and Smacktalks tried and at the rate he was going he said it would have taken more than that for him. Someone on twitch spent $1000... It's ridiculous because they could just sell these cards to us for $5 but instead decided to bankrupt people just for a character model that you can't even edit. Major L on 2K.

Here’s my proof of how shady this is - the Sami Zayn live event ends. A few hours later, using MFP I purchase a deluxe Punches pack & got Sami.

Hi, really good video. The duplicate value is an issue for punches and promos, because even if you get a duplicate Ruby / Amethyst you only get 750MFP, where as for the beast / soul providers ruby duplicates were giving comfortably over 10,000 each.

Grinding the 68,250 MFP for hogan to get the Ichiban hogan wasn’t hard….I just wish they would put the Sami Zayn Amethyst card or the Roman reigns ‘24 persona card so we can just grind the MFP. I’ve watched videos of 50 packs being opening and NO SAMI ZAYNS!!!!😳
Honestly, all I have is faction wars, and you don't earn nearly enough MFP. Even with challenges completed. So right now, it's a struggle to even earn enough for a pack. I don't have 15 hours a day to grind enough points for a pack, and even if I did, I'd get bored way before then.

I definitely agree, this year is the first year I’m actually getting into this myfaction game mode. I’ve enjoyed open packs without actually purchasing VC but as soon as I saw the persona cards and what it took to get them I knew for sure I’m definitely not spending money to get this. I’m knocking anyone who does but in my opinion I’m just not doing it especially when the new game comes out the servers shut down and everything gets wiped.

My Friend has been playing for quite some time and this year because he was obsessed over Roman reigns and the rock persona cards. He spent $1000 and when I found out.

They want money money moneyyet they cant even fix a simple thing like the still broken barricade trons when superstars have use apron video set as barricade tron. They need tk step up and fix things, we also still cant turn off sideplates so it reverts to belt defaults. Belts still look like molten lava also.
Belts and side plates are fixed. Not sure about the barricade stuff, but on my end with the belts, they are working fine.

If you have control over yourself you won’t have to worry about those card you are seeing right now you will get them later on trust me I know I have some of the top-tier cards in my fashion from WWE 2022 and wwe 2023 and also I earned so much my fashion points. I were able to buy multiple packs without spinning a dime and I literally got pretty decent cards also there was a live event and WWE 2K 23 that gave you 68 packs of cards that’s why I say you should not worry about spinning money have self-control and you will get the cards you wom

Faction Wars is pointless to me. That's pretty much the only thing to do and you don't earn nearly enough MFP. I guess you can just grind the boss cards or even the lower tier cards for rank alone. But no way to get packs or anything in that mode.

There's nothing redeemable about this mode. It would make more sense and probably be more fun if it wasn't actual turn base card game like magic the gathering. I'm not too sure why people are excited about unlocking a card of a wrestler they can play in any other mode of the game. Is it just me is it because I'm older and I lived through a time where all the smackDown and SVR games were great until 2K got a hold of the franchise?
I've felt the same way. This year I decided to give the mode a chance. I'm with you on the SvR days. Nothing beats them days.

And I really don't like where the possible practices are going for unlocking stuff in the future. The game does have its good points in all modes except for showcase but I just think the bad stuff outweighs some of the good. I guess it might be hard for us fogies to accept the change from what it was but I really don't think it's changing for the better. I don't think visual concepts is the best team to be working on this game. But hey my man if you're having fun with my faction and the game in general more power to you. I'll keep watching the videos seeing if 2K can bring me back in. But for now I'll just be a spectator and a guy who bitches about the games a lot ha ha Faction wars**

That dusty ruby was NOT available beforehand. I've put 200 hours into this game 140 in my faction. I'm not the only person complaining about this. Scroll youtube, buddy. This structure is trash. Plain and simple. To unlock Dusty you need the Taker backlash card. (Only time it's been available) also, Ultimate team knowledge is not needed when this is WWE. They don't have to copy and paste a broken ass structure from another game. Literally EVERYONE hates the way this mode is done. If you even watched the video, I say The Rock card will probably be made available later, so DO NOT SPEND MONEY NOW. Before you comment on videos that trigger you, at least come correct. Thanks. ✌️

They need something to make it fun. It's too repetitive and gets tiring easy. If they gave enough points to where I could unlock card packs within the first hour of playing, I'd stick it out. But since it takes 15 hours to grind enough points for 1 pack, I simply don't have the time or the patience. (I only have faction wars left to do)
