The world is changing quickly. Countries are starting to challenge the US-led world order that emerged after World War 2. Countries like China and Russia are hoping to create their own system, based on their own rules and values, and the world’s most important growing economies are taking notice.

I really don’t understand why you continuously repeating the same mistakes in many of your videos..??
Why you call Mosaddegh government in Iran, a democratically elected…?
It wasn’t… he was a prime minister selected by the Emperor of Iran and was kicked out by him according to the constitution of Iran then…But Mosaddegh tried to stage a coup against the shah with the help of clergy and USSR that was initially successful but after the coup he dismantled the parliament and the judiciary and wanted to start his own dictatorship that with the help of the US money, all the same clergy that initially supported him, all the members of parliament, the generals that didn’t want him as their new leader, and judges, he was kicked out eventually…!!
In the Iranian constitution of the time, Shah selects and kicks out the prime ministers not election..!!
Mosaddegh himself was against the elections since the constitutional revolution during the dynasty before Pahlavi…

Honestly, as a Russian, I am very skeptical of this and believe that this 'New cold war' topic is inflated. I mean, the world is too globalized and interdependent right now. In the real cold war time, there was virtually no trade and closed borders between two blocks and now more than half of China's trade is with the West and vice versa. Every political move discussed is in my view hypocritical, since everyone keeps trading with everyone regardless of these 'alliances'. And that Brics are developing a new currency is just laughable, they aren't even an alliance (SA's president was to arrest Putin if he comes)
Even in the original cold war there was some trade and relations between the blocks. Maybe not for the people, but for the governments and the powerful at least. The interdependency is keeping things from collapsing, but we see in the last years that the new blocks are trying to cut this dependency. But at the end of the day, global politics is just the result of thousands of small decision by people with conflicting interests, who will cooperate for some time if it helps them all.
Has someone got balls to arrest Putin?😂😂
Too right. The idea BRICS could compete with the G7 is complete delusion. China and India being best friends, South Africa a growing economy. Lol next joke
As long as China and Russia lose, I'm fine with whatever order.
Also from ideological point of view, China or Russia don't provide any solid and self-sufficient ideology or vision of better future as Soviet Union did. Economic growth of these countries was nurtured and empowered by the West, and politically China and Russia are way too corrupt and unripe compared to Western Democracies. Thus, to call it a new bipolar world is exaggerated. Most countries still see democracy as their ideal and only lean towards the East in some specific matters.

it's absurd that this man stood in front of the COUNTRY and said NUCULAR weapons literally unable to say the word properly @1:56. NUCULAR WEAPONS? are you in the 5th grade? seriously someone please explain this to me.
There's a lot to be said for old school effects and other "old school" additives/techniques that went underappreciated and have slowly become lost in the modern media landscape.
Slowly we're learning why they were so good and ubiquitous to begin with. Look at the cinema. It's the one place where many young people including myself and even some of the older generations might listen to a piece of really traditional classical music without even noticing it, because it just works!
I completely HATE the sound effects & music. Amusing that I just wrote how much it drove me insane & that couldn't even stand to watch the rest of the video. I'm old & this was NOT how videos used to be. It's new & something Millennials or younger stuff into their videos. It's distracting, annoying & makes hearing the words harder (for old ears).
We’ve been in a new Cold War for several years at this point. Considering trade wars and militarization of the South China Sea, things could and likely will get significantly more serious. The Cold War with the USSR has a debated start date, and this one will too when we look back on it.
We've been in a Cold War since 1944. Any notion that people had that it ever "ended" is a complete delusion, wishful thinking at best.

8:00 BRICS is not some rival to the West or NATO. To make a single currency or military alliance between such disparate far-flung countries would take a lot more unity and mutual co-operation than these states are capable of. The EU is geographically and culturally linked through their proximity to one another and even they haven't managed to spread the Euro to all members, or establish a formal alliance that isn't NATO. China and India are always skirmishing over their border, Russia's a global pariah, and South Africa is nearly a failed state that recently threatened to arrest Putin if he stopped by for the BRICS summit.
NATO they ain't. And a mutual trade currency can't have garbage economies attached to it (South Africa, arguably Russia). Look what Greece did to the Eurozone.

this is such a nuanced take- so often we see china being portrayed as something of an aggressor but seeing it from a more neutral perspective you can kinda see why they view the west as hypocritical
Yeah china hasn’t been aggressive compared to any other world power since they came into power really. The only things that come to mind of them sending troops to other places: Korean War, invasion of Tibet and the sino-Vietnamese war. One of which also had American troops, and they have also invaded Vietnam. And China haven’t invaded Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan
while China is being the biggest hypocrite. I cannot agree more. What China is portraying as a global peace maker, but in fact its policies is straight out imperialism while the US is at the very least keeping a façade of capitalism. While claim to be a non-aggressor to the world, it has been threatening Taiwan for decades. I guess your neutral perspective is more of a copium sadly.

Most of the members are also not going to be joining the proposed common currency as the proposed currency would be back by the dollar.
As a Chinese person, I've never seen a more "passively subjective" video on China Vs. USA. I mean, there are channels that present very obviously which side they partake, and then there is this video, pretending to be objective while it is clearly Chinese sided. I think it's very false of you guys to imply that while what the west does is hypocritical (which I agree with), that China is supporting a system of independence. This is clearly not what we have witnessed throughout China's history as well as modern affairs.
independence, but can't provide their citizens what they promise to others?
@@thatamericangamer7230I think you may be misunderstanding the original post. They are saying the video is claiming to be objective but is actually biased towards China. China does not support a system of independence. This is shown throughout history and modern affairs.
your comment and the second person's response have the exact same wording at the end. Bots much?
It is ridiculous that many used to think Johnny Harris is a CIA guy a few years ago now he's openly making PRC propganda.
robot
Hi Johnny , just to clarify , Brazil didn't sell 40mm anti aircraft ammunition , 5,56 automatic rifles , small arms ammunition and armored vehicles to Ukraine because by Brazil's constitution they can't sell arms to countries that are in war , Brazil is a neutral country as per it's constitution .
The first two videos CZcams recommended from you to me were you being mad at American breakfast and bread. So happy I found this one. Thank you.
Brilliant vid young man!
Ideologically US and most of the non-aligned countries are very different. If US not only want them allied with them but also want them to follow all their ideologies, then China will definitely get the upper hand with transactional alliance based on benefits without any need to change their ideologies.
That's true, but there is a long game the US can look forward to. That is 'universal values', the values that will develop naturally as nations get more educated and wealthier. Unless these third world countries go down the path of North Korea, and strictly keep their people perpetually poor and uneducated. This is also brewing inside China and Russia as their educated Middle class are increasingly unhappy with how things are going. Brain drain and disloyalty from the middle class will hurt them bad.
@@isunlloaoll that's what it was thought about China when they got into the WTC, Chinese middle class is the biggest in the world and yet the party's power is stronger than ever
@Caxacate significant numbers of the educated Chinese middle class have already adopted universal values. Why do you think feminism is big in China right now? Why do you think the Chinese government cracks down on it? They might not be protesting on the streets on mass, facing bullets and tanks, but they also arent willing to die for the Chinese regime. Look at the "lie flat" and the "let it rot" movements inside China. These are all new sparks that the Chinese civilization never had before it came into contact with universal values. This is why the CCP has a firewall on its internet, why everything is heavily censored, and why they're pushing for internal circulation. They are afraid of their people awakening.
@@Caxacatethat’s because people living inside China actually enjoys low crime, no drug abuse, high speed trains, no homeless tent cities, and affordable healthcare and all made possible by their government. What reasons would they have to hate their government? Are people in the US happy with all the gun violence, carjackings, smash and grabs, tent cities, unaffordable healthcare, unaffordable rent, and inflation? Are we (I’m a US citizen) happy with our government?
@@Caxacate over 20 percent unemployment for the 16-24 age group and a nose diving economy. Plus, debt to gdp ratio is out of control and that doesn’t even get into consumer debt. The real estate bubble is starting to pop. USA and allied forces are forcing China into decline just like they did to the USSR and Japan. It’s called the middle income trp. Over 600 million Chinese have a 140 dollar a month income. That is low and way below the actual poverty line. Also, I’m surprised Johnny didn’t get into chinas crumbling demographics and that it is entering into a balance sheet deficit. Every metric of the CCP is in decline right now. Wake up dude.
This was a very good video. Genuinely one of the best impartial breakdowns of modern geopolitics I’ve seen in a while. 👍👍👍
It was pretty partial to China…
lol this is like a commercial for china that overlooks a ton vital facts
@haloxd7 China has so much money for advertising? people there are poor lol
Thanks for the intro.
Thanks for another thing to agonize over while I’m trying to sleep, Johnny!

@@BiggaNigga69 Why do you even watch the channel if you hate it so much?
This channel is nothing but propaganda for the USA & Global Capital
This sharing of tech and knowledge and partnerships is so so so good for the world.
Great analysis. Just one thing to add. India isn't peaking sides not so that we can benefits from both China and US. Infact we are still military confrontation along the border area with China. So not planning to benefit from China at the very least.
Now coming to our engagement with the US. India doesn't approach US so that we can get some aid like Pakistan. Infact we are the fastest growing economy this year. And due to our population size, we are to a large extent independent economically because our own consumer market can ensure economic growth.
US India engagement is just because of the fact that we both have common rival and that will be China. So it pretty much serves mutual interest
India is not the fastest growing economy. India's 5% gdp growth rate is still much lower than China or US's 4% gdp growth rate.
@dodododododododo8216 Keep yourself updated with latest data.

Yeah and also QUAD
Whilst I agree with your points on India not approaching the US for aid, it's far too simplistic atm to say that India is only engaging with the US for 'mutual interests'. There has been a slew of investment from American companies as of late, with billions of dollars to flow into the country. Whilst this is probably also to benefit the US, the 'de-risking' of US's dependence on China is leading to a great deal of advantages for India. The role of the Quad can't be understated as well. So yes, while India is looking after their own interests especially with China's looming presence, it's too simplistic to say that it's 'just because we have a common rival'. India and the US agree on many frontiers and it seems likely to grow in the near future.
Chinas advances have been so slow and strategic, something this world isn't used to..
I trust it's only a matter of time before the world feels the full effects of what China has been planning
Your mad that a brutal reppressive liberal powerhouse is getting replaced by a brutal reppressive consevative powerhouse
