Peter is a folk hero. Thumbs up.
Actually Andrew Fishing yup, he sure is
That is so funny !! My brother has always been a great fisherman. I remember him & Dad always reeling them in !! Thanks for this 👍😁
Is Peter your brother?
He's a legend
LOL Peter is a legend, I'd love to bump into a fellow fisherman like him
Peter always has good vibes when your fishing around him. He’ll always make you smile and laugh
Peter is a lovely man!
Old man Peter will go viral. He is famous around the 6ix. LOL.
He schooled you Pump. 😂
True North Angler I should listen to Peter more often...haha
PUMP KNOWS FISHING
He has more experience than both of us combined and logged more hours fishing than most people. Lot of respect for people like that.
you had a blast with that old guy
Paul D.silva he’s fun to fish around
"old man" & I fished last night same spot - we put on a clinic!
Old age & treachery will always overcome youth & skill... Lol!
Haven’t been there in over a month but it was a really good run this spring that’s for sure. Didn’t get skunked once
Fishing The 6ix
With a channel name like yours, you shouldn’t get skunked. 😂✌️🇨🇦.
Adrian
Ryyan Khan
I do.
Ryyan Khan there’s not many fish at that spot now anyways don’t worry you aren’t missing out now
Years of experience and knowledge always beats out youth,
Great catch & release
jam1971 M thanks 👍
Such a funny video 😂
Oh man pk. Bet you wished you'd have grabbed your spinning reel that day. The only bows I get in st Louis are farm raised. They stock em winter so people have fish to catch. Get some nice ones and browns. Fish on.
Mike Piekarski this was the first time I’ve witnessed stocked hatchery rainbow trout released in the river. They’re not the smartest and hit everything you pass in front of them. I wish they stocked more steelhead in our waters tho. Good luck out there, tight lines 👍
@@PUMPKNOWSFISHING yeah 5hats all they stock here too. And only in the winter. Range is only about 1 to 2 pounds. Stock them in local ponds for people to catch. I usually use inline spinners or just sweet corn for them. 5hey die off in about a week. Water temps go up fast 9n these shallow ponds. Definitely not the brightest fish in the lake.
Is it open all year there for fishing I catch a release anyway
👍👍
Good stuff bro. Just out of curiosity, what lures were Peter using?
Faisal Khan I’m not sure what the exact lure was
Hey pump what’s your honest opinion on the raven rpx?
What’s your opinion on the rv9 vs rpx? Pros cons and which reel
Do you pair it with? What is your leader u use and lb test? What type
of roe are you using and is it cured? Great content!
gr8tfish gr8tfish rv9 for steelhead and rpx for salmon/steelhead. Rpx is more powerful and can handle very big fish with ease. I like landing my fish right away and I can do that with the rpx no problem. Right now I have the rpx custom paired with my islander. I also have a kingpin r2 and I find it a bit heavier for the rod and doesn’t balance the way I like it. I’ll use 6lb to 10lb leader on my rpx. If I went down to 4lb leader, I’d feel like it would snap if I don’t baby my catch. My roe is cured or I buy my eggs from Fishheads Canada.
Thank you for information. I love the look of the R2 and hopefully will buy one someday. How does it compare to the islander? What do you think of the imperial?
gr8tfish gr8tfish both are nice pins. The clicker on the r2 is very strong and the islander is pretty weak. I had to adjust the tension of the clicker on the islander to make it stronger. The anodizing on the r2 is solid, no dings or scratches on it so far but my islander already has some light scratches. These are the only 2 pins I’ve used so far plus my first pin which was a okuma aventa. I’ve never used a imperial before so I can’t comment on that
The countdown to opener!
Hook And Reel Fishing stay safe out there 👍
The danm php closed the ganaraska river to all fishermen to may 11th. This is ridiculous.
Was that my boy peter?
Ive been humbled by him before.
chileanmarxist yup, old man Peter. Tell him you watched him on CZcams the next time you see him. He wants to go viral
