Welcome to 2023 Matt. Lovely little project. Cannea wait for the new shop build. I get the hebbie gebbies every time I watch ye work on a wobbly stand power tool! Take care & stay safe.
Great design. Could do with one on my bedside table...
Thank you
One suggestion - drill a second hole from the outside to the interior to allow a charging cable to be plugged into the bottom of the phone. Now you can use it as a bedside speaker/phone stand/charging station
maybe he has a cordless charging version
looking at the vid again that's not the case
Fun little project that looks great too, thanks Matt !
I heard the increase in volume, amazing. Nice one Matt. Cheers Tony
Thank you Tony
Nice idea and design! I love sapele
Thanks Matt, nice simple design.

Brilliant idea Matt that works really well.

Thank you
Beautiful work, Matt! I really liked the design! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you
Ingenious. I’ve got to give that a go🎶🕺🏻
Thank you
Another great idea from a good ideas man, well done Matt, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia.
Thank you Les
Good idea for small offcuts of wood.
Spray the inside of the cone with silicone spray then wipe off. Repeat 5 times. Sound waves will travel better and sound sharper/louder
I loved that project! Would love to see if it works better with the phone further down the block. No idea also if there's an easy way of smoothing the cone to get rid of the steps and whether that would improve the volume...
Mount it on a lathe to smooth out the interior cone
you need to build a sturdy table saw stand!
Nice video, thanks. That hoodie you wearing looks lovely and warm, could you send a link where I can purchase one. Thanks
Great idea Matt, was just wondering where you get all your pieces of hardwood from? Keep up the good work.
Nice project, Matt, simple design but it seems to work. How does it sound with music played through it?
Matt
thank you for all of your videos, inspirational and grounded at the same time. What make is your bandsaw as I was mightily impressed with how it handled the sapele; mine struggles to resat balsa!
It’s a Axminster professional one. I’m very impressed with it
@@Badgerworkshop thank you might have to start saving up!
Happy New year Matt!
Are batteries included?
Happy new year
Would it be worth bevelling the inner edges - or using a roundover?
That's pretty neat! And is that a OnePlus phone? That's what I'm using 😅
Random question. When u mske your new workshop. Will u be selling your clark tempry one? Thanks.
Yes I probably will
@@Badgerworkshop might be intrested in it. 🙂
I’m first to comment, whoop, whoop.
