The Sanghyang Dedari Dance, Batubulan, Bali August 2012

These two little girls (10 years old) performed a traditionally religious Balinese dance, which is said to ward off evil spirits from their village. Watching this was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Bali; I sincerely hope that we never lose such beautiful cultural traditions, with the constant modernization of our world.
