The way of teaching good, some corrections may required: Should be careful With E/Z nomenculture: When Oxygen and Sulfur attached at one double bond carbon, you are telling O will get more priority than S. Fortheter, in case of phenolic ether example, OLi and OPh there then OPh will get more priority as Li less atomic number than Carbon. Better avoid E/Z nomenculture and use Cis / Trans nomenculture as suggested in clayden book first edition page 899. Further, syn means will get 50:50 , one time at both above and one time at both below based on Re face attack and Si face attack. But if specifically asked Re attack will give, then which one is major Of corce, in depth not required for examination. The way of lecture is very nice, so that notecing the minor corrections to you.

In the stereochemistry of aldol,,you have abstracted the H from more substituted side although with LDA it will give enolate at less substituted side
