Dear Kelly, I am so grateful for your good news. Your story brought tears to my eyes, especially when they let Eric stay with you. How incredibly comforting. Many times I’ve been wheeled away, watching my sweetie’s face and knowing how worried he was. He wouldn’t handle it any better than Eric did but what a comfort. Hugs and prayers for quick healing. You should never be ashamed of a scar because it means that you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you. You’re a survivor! Kelly, I am so happy that your surgery went so well and that they got it all. It takes a while for a scar to “mature and heal,” but trust me, when it does you’ll probably not notice it. This is such good news!
Adorable card, at first my eyes could not adjust to the ice hole from it being an ice berg, but the coloring totally made it work. So glad you had a compassionate surgeon and the first go came back with clean margins. And so glad Eric is such a trooper even with needle fear

Praise the Lord they got it all and on the first try! You’re in my prayers for a complete recovery. It’s hard to have surgery on your face, I’d be anxious too. You seem to be a person who gives grace to others, give some to yourself too. I’m a 21 year breast cancer survivor. After my mastectomy it took me a hot minute to be able to look at my survivor marks too. I think that’s normal. Your faith is strong, you’ve got this girl💗.

This is a cute card. I like you used the stamp for a hole in the ice. I'm so happy your surgery went well and the doctor got all the cancer. I'm also glad you found a way to tape your dressing so it's not poking you. Your feelings about your wound are valid and you have a right to them. We all react differently to different things. I continue to pray for your quick and uneventful healing. Bless Erik for being able to handle being with you during your procedure.

Thanking God! So happy to hear about the positive results of your surgery. I had Mohs on my nose; I had to go back three times before they got it all. My Dr also gave me a mirror to see the hole😳 It was horrible. I ended up having another surgery a year later because he left me with a concave nose😬 The plastic surgery corrected that. But just as you said - what really mattered was they got it all! So very much to be grateful for. Praying baby girl is feeling better soon! I’m so glad they were able to get everything. No matter what anyone says, when it’s on your face it’s traumatic. It’s not really a vanity thing, it’s an identity thing (imho).We are accustomed to seeing our faces the way they are and any unexpected change to that is unsettling. Hope you continue to heal well.

I am so very thankful that all of the prayers for your positive outcome were answered. It will take time, as you know, to heal and it will look much better. Makeup can do wonders. Kelly, I am so glad your surgery turned out as well as it did. It takes a long time for a scar to heal, but I think by that time, you’ll hardly even notice it.
So thankful the procedure was successful and didn’t have to be a prolonged ordeal. I know 3 months is a long time, but every day brings a bit more healing, and by the time Kaitlyn is 7 months old, you’ll have the experience behind you. Be kind to yourself as you heal and rest when you can.
I have watched your videos for years. I feel like you are a dear friend because of the way you talk about everything. I love your coloring, yes, but I enjoyed your chats more. It made me feel like a friend, not a project for a stranger on the internet. I hope that makes sense. I will continue to pray for a calm heart and fast healing of skin and emotions. Yes, our hearts are traumatized thru these battles. Praises for your prognosis. It is wonderful your surgeon explained everything and that it only took one procedure to get it all. Can your husband take care of the wound so that you don't have to look at it? BTW your card is adorable.
Yay!!! GOD is good! Prayers are powerful! So happy for you and your family! I've been checking every night to see if any news so glad to hear they got it all....I so appreciate your honesty in your feelings, but as you heal and any scaring, try to remember what the alternative could of been! Except your blessings graciously! Your Husband, family land friends love you, not because of what's on the outside but because of who you are and your beautiful heart and soul!!!! I will continue to keep you in prayer for healing physically and mentally. Don't ever forget what a beautiful person you are!!! GOD is indeed good!

I am so happy for you that the surgery was successful the first time! You have a wonderful husband, as well. You probably don’t need unsolicited comments like this but here goes - I have a friend who suffered a large gash-type injury to her forehead and eye area requiring many stitches. She was really worried about scarring on her face and was told to use Moderma (an ointment if you have not heard of it) on the injury. She used it religiously during the healing process and it is amazing how well it worked to prevent scarring. Her injury is barely noticeable, and that is if you know it is there. I thought I might mention it for your consideration. You will be beautiful regardless of the outcome.

I could hear in your voice how much better you are feeling! Praise God they got it all. Just remember, Eric loves you no matter how you look. I’m sure your scar will fade considerably. You got this! Be brave and be strong. I once had medicine induced lupus and a very bad rash over my whole body, including my face. When I went out in public and people stared, I held my head high.
I’m so relieved for you! I know that the scar is hard to look at but the physician sounds like he is terrific and definitely knows what he’s doing. They work miracles with stitches now. I know it’s tough right now but am so very happy for you!

You have been so on my mind. I kept hoping we'd hear from you soon. So glad Eric got to be with you! Oh thank God it was all gone in the first go! My MOHS was done in the first go but I had to go back the next day for stitches. I don't get my stitches out until Friday. You are young and the scar should fade and makeup should cover. Mine runs down the side of my nose around the nostril and into my upper lip...but I'm old and I don't care about the scar. The card is darling and I love the sweater. God does answer prayers.

I’m so happy everything turned out so well! I probably wasn’t the only one pouring over CZcams for an update. Three months isn’t such a long time. It seems like the baby was born yesterday and that’s how old she is. I hope her cold is better.

His kidneys are failing and we are trying to get through it with Gods help. Tell Eric he is a champ. It's hard to be on the other side too. So Praise the Lord for watching out over you and yours!!! I’m behind on watching videos… so I’m just finding out about your surgery. I’m a masters prepared registered nurse- have been for about 40 years… I am appalled for you by how you had to find out about your biopsy. There is no excuse for that - other than people not following appropriate processes! I’m so grateful that everything has turned out fine for you - I’m really glad that you had a plastic surgeon instead of a dermatologist perform your procedure. Let’s be real - it’s your face! I have many scars - lots of procedures unfortunately- but any time I need something removed from my face, a plastics guy does it. They are the best. Loved the card. Love MFT polar bears. They are the cutest and also really easy to color lol.

Kelly, so glad everything worked out well. I'm happy to have heard that a plastic surgeon did your surgery. They know best in how to bury a scar since they would have to fix it if it was messed up by someone else with good intent. What I'm going to offer as advice is because, honestly, I don't think doctors think wholistic medicine. Vaseline, is a brand of white petroleum which is derived from oil, like what you use in your house. Europe does not allow the use of white petroleum jelly in cosmetics because of harmful chemicals it might contain. Look at plant-based oils like coconut or castor, rosehip...plant based. They have all sorts of good healing properties in their pure forms. Castor oil is also great for babies if they're gassy or fussy. Massage their bellies with the oil and usually within half an hour it gives them relief. massage their feet to help a baby relax and go to sleep.
I love to watch you create your cards. I bet that when you get a product to use for cards that your mind spends a good portion of the night coming up with ideas on what type of card you will create with the contents.
So glad they got it all. I told hubby that “Kellyhoo has cancer” and he said “No, that is NOT acceptable, she has to make LOTS AND LOTS MORE VIDEOS” lol. Although he doesn’t watch your videos, he’s totally on your side and will be relieved to hear the good news.

Thank God they got all of it!! Praise the Lord !! I understand your feelings about your surgical site-I have had 22 operations and I still have less than pleasant feelings about a few scars. If I wasn’t married and was still out in the dating world; these feelings would be very unpleasant for me and would bring me shame to show. A very stressful time for you ;but now, it will all improve (won’t be easy but less hard).
You know, in the challenges in my life, I seem to have missed out on the fact you had a baby!! I missed out on all of that “story time”. CONGRATULATIONS!!

I am so thankful that you did a video so soon to give us an update. I have truly had you on my heart and have said numerous prayers over the past few days. I am so Very happy they got it all the first time. After your stitches are removed consider getting some Vitamin C capsules. They told us to use one every day when my daughter got her stitches out and it really helps reduce scarring. I know it's a very scary thought, but you are so very loved and you know those who love you will not be phased over a tiny scar if you do have one. I commit to continuing to pray for your healing and I'm sure that I won't be the only one, so hang on to that 2 or more praying, that He is in the midst. Your faith will help you most.
When I had my open heart surgery they did the bumpy stitches and it healed so flat and nice. For the longest time I would wear big necklaces to kind of hide it and draw attention to the necklace not me, but now it's just like a stretch mark. Our babies are worth them and the additional 15yrs I have had, are well worth the scar. Hang in there Kelly. We love you.
Really cute card . Ms. Catelyn is growing up fast , already 4 months. Glad they got everything and you're on the road to recovery. Happy belated birthday to Eric and your mommy. Monday's my 40th birthday, my first big milestone birthday without my parents , especially my mom.and sister, so it's a bit bittersweet.

Gorgeous card and Thank God, you had a good outcome on your cancer removal. It is always traumatic and we all have to deal with these things the best way we can. Do not ever worry if you feel you others will judge...they have no right! You did fantastic getting through this trauma and I am proud of you. Now, enjoy that prayers have been answered and you are not facing a shortened life and remember if you see a scar, it is nothing to stress over....you will be fine! Love and hugs to you and Eric. What a cute card!! I love it! Kelly, I’m so glad they got all the cancer. You must be so relieved. Breathing a huge sigh of relief for all of you. It’s definitely in an awkward place on your face being so close to your eye, so I’m glad you were able to figure out a way to cut the bandage so it wouldn’t affect your eyesight. I know I’d feel exactly the same as you do with it being on the face. I pray that it heals well and that the scar is barely noticeable. The important thing is you will be okay! So grateful for that.
Hi Kelly. Very happy your surgery went fine. Prayer works. I had an episode where I had to be resuscitated twice almost a year ago, of course I didn't know I had expired, anyway I know it helps when people are praying and pulling for you. I love the cards you make especially the coloring, masking and your honest story telling. May God continue to bless you and your family.

So..so.. grateful they got all of it! I’m sorry that you’re having such a terrible time excepting your scar. For a long time after I had my melatonin surgery on my arm I kept thinking well maybe I’ll put a tattoo over it. But now I’m glad I didn’t, it is my survival badge on my arm. I’m beyond overjoyed to hear your ok. God is good. Hopefully you’ll heal well and you will make peace with it. When I had my plate and fusion it took a good year before everything evened out. That was 4 years ago and I barely see the scar. I loved the card. I hope the baby is feeling better.

So happy to hear your good news. As the saying goes 'Your stronger than you think'. That's BS. You do it because you have to. In this case I don't know how you did it. Oh my gosh I’m so incredibly grateful that it all went well and the surgeon said it will heal cleanly. When you posted your last video I was so upset it brought back painful memories of when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I even took anxiety meds for the first time when it happened. I couldn’t even post a comment showing my care and concern for you I’m so sorry! Love you and I’m always wishing you and all of your family the best!

So happy that the surgery is over, & they got it all!! Many years ago they just cut & hoped & typically took more than was needed just to make sure. Some of the "medical" technology creeps me out, but tech like this where they can do really fast paths during the procedure to make sure there are clean margins is so amazing.

Darling card. So glad they got it all. I was very lucky when I had basil cell removed from my nose my daughter worked fo a general surgeon so she took care of the hole in my nose. I didn’t have to look at it. Prayers for a fast and full recovery for you

Love this card but loved story time more. I’ve been checking daily for a new video from you hoping for a health update. So thankful everything went well for you. Been praying for you and your family. Of course you’d be upset about the size of the incision-I’d be concerned if you weren’t. I’ve no doubt by the time you’re totally healed you won’t notice anything different. I'm so relieved for you, I've been thinking about you every time since the last video.
So great that the doctor get it all in one time.
I have quite a few scars from surgery myself but they are all under my clothing, there is one that sits on my shoulder and can be seen in the summer but it has faded so much over the years that you can't see it. I hope that after a while you will see very little or nothing of your scar.
I have a tip for you that a maternity nurse who had been in the profession for years gave me when our daughter was a few months old and had a bad cold that made it difficult to breathe through her nose; Peel an onion and cut it in half. Place it cut side up on a saucer and place it by her bed. It helps great.

I can’t tell you how thrilled and excited to hear they got it all. My family was lifting you up in prayer and God is so faithful. As far as the scar I understand. Any change or permanent scar changes how you feel about your looks and let’s face it, that is important too. When the doctor surgically put in my permanent portacatheter for infusion I asked for a mini. I said when I wear a scoop neck shirt it wasn’t the first thing people I wanted people to see. Stay strong! As it heals it will become lighter. Right now it’s very new and red. So happy for you and I’m sure Eric is relieved too🙏I’m going to have to try the alcohol technique. That’s cool.

Wonderful news, Kelly! 🙏🏼 I have a similar area of concern on the side of my nose. I keep telling myself I need to get to the dermatologist but they are 4-5 months out making appts! I honestly don’t know what I will do if it is cancer because of the area it is on. I suffer from extreme anxiety too and it’s horrible. I’m happy it’s all over but the healing for you. God answered everyone’s prayers! ❤️

Gosh, please make your derm appt!! The cells could be growing wider and deeper under the surface. Plastic surgeons are amazing, the incision on my nose is barely visible even to myself.
