Great video. Thank you Very Much... I never realized How Powerful Rekordbox is with all its options and organizations. I just installed it threw stuff in it.... just to get a feel for it..... and just astonished about what all it can do. Now going back after mixing for a few days... to get a better understanding of the software itself. Organizing the wasn't too hard but being aware of the features that I didn't know were there.
Why is it impossible to manually move the pitch control to match the song that's playing? With Rekordbox I always have to push 'beat sync'
Good stuff as always! One thing that bugs me about Rekordbox is keeping my genre lists updated after I've added tracks in the folders themselves. Best thing I've come up with is to keep my genre playlist names the same as the folders and then after I'm done stuffing new tracks I drag the folders over to Rekordbox. I get the 'replace existing playlist' promts but it seems its not readding/reanalizing the old stuff, just the new ones. Kinda wish there was an update playlist from folder feature of some sort. Any tips for doing this better ?

Can you show how to use the XP2 to control the record feature on Rekordbox? I am getting the ddj 1000 and it doesn't have the record buttons like on the ddj RZ. I thought it would be great to have this available on the XP2. Thanks.

You don't need to register it if it's the new version

Been a serato user for a while now after being a vinyl dj for 30 years, I literally just load my set lists to usb plug it in laptop and drag them into serato and done,rekordbox seems alot more complicated, I don’t want my laptop memory full of tunes, I store all my tracks on a tower pc and just take the tracks I want for my set and put them on usb, I’d this possible on rekordbox without all this gobbledee gook, Im oldskool and not very tech minded lol most of what u said in this vid went over my head😂

I have a different version, different screen, which made it hard to follow this tutorial. Also, some of my songs will show bpm etc, others do not, even after going to Analyze track. Weird.

Im a beginner. Does the crossfader work on headphone cue 1/2? Everytime i turn both of them on both tracks play together regardless of where i move the crossfader.. I have a DDJ 400 with rekordbox
No, crossfader does not work on headphone cue, you can only turn on or off cue 1/2
Hello I’m new to this and need help. I have a bunch of song on a USB DRIVE, which I have uploaded them off of the drive and into my laptop. Can I use those song on Rekordbox or I can only use songs from iTunes or Spotify etc? If so how do I get them from my music file onto RB?

Hi there, just moved onto Rekordbox from wedj. When I connect to my SoundCloud account, every track i load up to play is sounding half a beat behind the beat grid, making it hard to mix. Any ideas please ?
I had more than 1000 tracks on my Rekordbox. Today I opened the program and there was only 642. I lost half the tracks on my colection! (They still are on my computer, it is like I deleted them from my Rekordbox colection).
Fuck, now I have to search for each one of them and add it all again and set CUEs and stuff... :(

I made the switch to Rekordbox from Traktor but I can’t seem to work out if Rekordbox has the played tracks indicator (after you play a track something lights up). Is this possible? It’s a deal breaker for me as I like to know what’s available in my playlist.

@@phomzaraboon7688 i bought a new macbook (air 2020 with the M1 chip) couple days ago, now both work perfectly. before that i had a 2015 macbook air and i had to lower the buffer rate for rekordbox because there was some latency and glitches when loading tracks. serato worked great on both computers...
