Welcome to this #030 episode and penultimate of Lithuania, today we are going from Vilnius to Kaunas
The day didn't start in the best way, with the bus driver who wanted to charge me 2€ ticket and then made me get off 2km from the station ( I still don't understand why ) ... after running with 2 heavy backpacks ( even the Boltino did not want to take me )... In the end, I managed to miss the first train to #Kaunas ( which previous days was a Pesa )
To complicate this, instead of simplifying the #Interrail, the Lithuanian train operator also complicated it by having to queue for a first-class ticket!
Which would have allowed me to do my laundry and be able to leave the next day for Poland ... instead ... misfortune gets in the way ... when I arrive with the laundry at the laundry (near the station) I discover that the laundry has just closed (it was 15:00) ... so I took the opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful and modern (according to several travel bloggers ... mah! ) Lithuanian city ... where I was also able to taste an excellent Georgian dinner (here they dine like chickens at 5pm!! )
Could I also miss a nice thunderstorm? ... Of course not!
In short, a trip that would make you exclaim "But what a pity! "
