The term caste was first used by Portuguese travelers. These four castes are the Brahmins (priests, teachers), Kshatriyas (rulers, warriors), Vaishyas (landowners, merchants), and Sudras (servants). In India caste is the history, just like White and black (aka your caste system) in America, now a black can be a servant, warrior, teacher, or etc., owner, and also a white can be a servant, warrior, teacher, and etc., and same go with Indian casts. 👌
Good to see someone, give good fact , let me clarify it more : In India their were no cast (Casta) like Portugese & later British Merchant's bring to India & called our Varn to their cast of Knights Peasants kings & slaves which is not at all existed.

Chandrayaan 2 which is mentioned in the video it was a partial sucess but on august of this year we landed on the south polar region of the moon by chandrayaan 3 and became the first country to successfully land on the south pole of the moon you should check that video out also. when I was in college I have a pg room where we four friends had taken on rent combined and all were of different castes studying in same engineering college for 4 yrs we were like bff and yes we even didn't care about the caste till now when were are well settled we meet or call every weekend on conference that's india now❤❤

If you've never heard of Runrig I highly recommend checking them out. They're one of Scotlands great rock bands. There are tons of great videos from their concerts here on the tubes of you. Caste is actually a colonial Indian term invented by the Britishers and borrowed from Spanish colonial CASTA. It's like none of the Indian languages have any word for Kangaroo, Penguin or Baptism becoz none of them are natural to India, similarly if English has a word CASTE in it, it's not becoz it's roots lie in India but becoz the Britishers followed a CASTE-like system in their society, from before their rule in India, which they have erased everything about. That British Caste system was the reason, lower castes of Britain were the first to be exported to Australia and America, just to die there while struggling to survive.
@@AmericansLearnthe explanation is below your comment. 'Caste' wasn't a social hierarchy of any sort. Sanatan Dharm or Hinduism as people refer to it talks of Varna vyavastha which was about the people who followed different types of jobs. In India, I don't know which one he comes from, people marry people of all Varnas. Also, India has thousands of spoken languages, those are only the official languages he has mentioned. India is not just landing on the moon and trying to show off or is in a race, India is also helping its poor to get housing, Healthcare, pension, food. The government of India doesn't spend money only for the 'privileged' it spends on those who need it. Anyone can come from any sort of family, that's the reason for someone's status today, in all countries.
