Adorable! Very much enjoying your playthrough. I do have a question, what's the trick with keeping baby nooks? I restarted recently but was hoping to keep it before the upgrade but not sure what im doing wrong. TIA
Thank you!! And Nooks upgrades once you’ve spent 200,000 bells, so as long as you don’t buy that much from nooks it will stay baby 🥹

And I’m just wondering HOW long does it take to get all the items you need to decorate your island? I’m going for a fishing village/Ghibli island and I see all these beautiful islands and want to make sure my time expectations are accurate 😆
Also how does one acquire custom designs from other people and are they free? I’m a noob 🙈
It can take quite a while if you're just acquiring item organically in the game! I think it depends on if you want to take a more relaxed approach and take your time to collect things in the game. For me, because I make content I don't have the time to wait for things to appear in nooks, so i use treasure islands! There are loads of free islands on twitch if you search "acnh treasure island." IMO thats the quickest way to get items to decorate! As for custom designs, you get those for free when you get able sister's shop on your island. Its the kiosk in the right back corner of the shop. You can also use nook miles to unlock more design slots and the app on the nookphone to be able to download them anywhere in the island. Those upgrades are in the atm machine in resident services once you have the able sister's building on your island. Hope that helps!!!
