I'm an old coot, and this song has been one of my favorites since the 70's.
I was playing this in the car, windows down at a RR crossing waiting for one long-as-$hit train to finish blocking the road. The car next to me was cranking new stuff of some kind. Some flavor-of-the-week vapid chick singing some cliche ridden, strum the guitar drivel. Just some kids maybe in their late teens, early twenties.
The passenger noticed the sounds coming out of my car, and turned his off. He held up his hand to the guys in the back seat, waving them into silence, and inclined his head towards my car. I edged my volume up a bit and rolled the back window down, the better to share.
We all sat there, enjoying the zen that is Led Zeppelin for the rest of the song on the player, and part of the next song. When the crossing gate opened, the passenger looked at me, and simply raised his eyebrows. I answered his question by simply saying "Led Zeppelin".
They nodded their heads, and we all departed the magical aura of good music.
I did notice that they didn't start up the going down the road.
