"Expect to spend 3-5 hours..."
I spend 3-5 hours on just checking out a new player home.
I’m just still shocked that this game is still so popular it can have a Top 5 new mods almost a decade later.
Well it's easily the greatest game ever made even without mods. So it's not surprising that this many people are so passionate about it.
To be fair, it could have a "top 5 mods" for each day of the year. On average Special Edition alone gets about 20 new mods every day.
To be fair, if you check out Mario 64 romhack community, they have an "e3" for mods.
@@Phoenix-pb4sm debatable, but I wouldn't know which game(s) to argue lol.

#MAGA the only better time to be alive than right now is tomorrow.
Carved Brink's world spaces seriously make you question whether or not you're playing Skyrim
too bad the story was horrible to understand :( the environments were sooooo good
@@DylanVlogs2003 I got lost way too many times. Spent more time using that jumping spell in giant circles than actually exploring the place
It sucks that such beautiful world design was wasted on a mod with such a horrible and dull story :/
Finally! The person who can answer my question!
Are butterflies bugs or features?
@@TheEpicNate315 Thank you, Todd stop returning my calls.
It would be nice to put some Vorpal Butterflies here and their.. slightly different color, 500 hit points and they have one attack, 10% chance of decapitating the player character... like the Vorpal bunny from a certain British movie...
Hey, thank you so much for choosing to include iEquip in this shortlist. We're waiting for an update to our SKSE plugin and there's been some pretty depressing comments recently on the Nexus (no surprise there...) so it's a real boost to us to see such great coverage from you again. We're working on a few additional tweaks and new features which we'd like to include in the next update, so we're not quite done yet!
By the way, you should try using the QuickRanged and QuickShield functions rather than cycling if you want to switch from melee to ranged and back quickly during combat 😉
One of the greatest and most underrated mods. Super functional and useful. One of my favorites
god todd: so how much do you want to know about this game
Nate: *YES*
Nate literally just "yes'd" someone a few comments down making this all the more fun.
Why “god” Todd? By that logic, are the rest of the developers Demi-gods?
I have been a console player all my life and I never thought that I would one day switch to PC. That is until a few months ago when I downloaded Skyrim on ps4. I fell in love with the game instantly and it motivated me to join the master race so I could play the game at it’s full potential with mods. It’s the best decision I have made in my entire life.
My story is similar. I stopped by Xbox along the way to PC.
I still use my consoles, just not for Skyrim.
Let me guess
You need a drink. It's the Silver-Blood Inn you're looking for.
Wow, just skip the sweetroll line and go straight to telling people what to do to ease their stress as a thief victim... lol
Why doesnt. Bethesda hire some of these mod developers
Because they want them to move to Maryland and many of these mod authors live overseas.
Yea I it would but if some live in the US they could hire them and make the next elder scrolls game better
@@Mal.Ka1 I agree but even the ones in the USA may not want to relocate. I had a friend who applied for a position that was listed as remove work only to find out after being hired that he was expected by the company to move from where he lived in Oregon to Maryland. Moving across country costs upwards of 25,000. Not to mention uprooting his whole family. He turned down the position. If Bethesda would just allow for remote work and utilize the collaboration technology that so many other companies do then they could get better project builders.
@@theroman886 yes money talks but Bethesda sadly isn't offering enough incentives and money for the positions they need to fill.
Talos's teachings : Yeet them elves to Oblivion
get my blessings
Imagine if there was a mod that added the entire continet of Tamriel, that would be a blessing
Enderal was also the sequel to the Oblivion mod "Nehrim: At Fate's Edge" which took place (in the games lore) 2 years after Nehrim.
Just found this channel about a month ago and have instantly fallen in love with all these fantastic TES videos and have also begun watching every single video available on this channel to get myself caught up!
I have to thoroughly appreciate how carefully you selected these mods to showcase, just to show a bit of everything - from quests to player experience to immersion to visuals. I've returned to Skyrim after several years of total abstinence and now you've inspired me to try all of these in my game. Thank you very much.
2019...boy we sure didn´t know what we had comming
Wintersun is my favorite mod, after finding it recently, I could never go back
Wintersun completely changes your gameplay. Alongside Alternate Start, you are instantly immersed in your backstory.
Thanks, Nate! Getting back into Skyrim, and going to play Project AHO now. I (somehow) forgot about it for a while despite being subscribed to this channel for a little over a year now. And I plan on playing Enderal! Thanks!
Honestly, some of your videos are probably my main source of mod choices.
I haven't even started the video but I can already hear Nate saying "Carved Brink."
In this end of year, is important to remember e be thankful for those who were highlights in your year.
So thank you Nate for providing not only hours of entertainment, but an extensive new vocabulary showcase, for so many words to describe big stuff!
Have a wonderful end of the year! Keep up the good work ;)
One of those shrines from the religions mod looked like a statue of Anna Henrietta from TW3
Nice compilation list!
Enderal Was So Beautiful, i haven't heard about the DLC until now, i'm gonna download it soon!
Edit: Downloading, tomorrows gonna be a good day
The Faiths of Skyrim is one of my favourite roleplaying/immersion mods! together with Death Alternative, my main dragonborn became a priest of Arkay himself after being saved by the pair down in Falkreath from bandits.. multiple times. it was a completely unforseen thing that felt just right in the scheme of things, and is now a major aspect of his character. Oh and finding all the new shrines added in is a great bit of fun. I can't second the endorsement enough (thanks Nate for introducing it to me in the first place!)
Nate, you vids are so good, please never stop making Skyrim vids
I love your videos I watch till I don’t keep track of time
Sheogoraths blessing will give you an endless supply of cheesewheels.
Or it will turn you into a cheesewheel, who knows.
Dude I've been subbed for like 4 years, and I've only just gotten time to try all these out due to quarantine. I can't stop crashing my PS4.
Definitely waiting for the release of the Beyond Skyrim mods.
Hopefully some would be out next year.
Yeah man, looks like we'll be enjoying Atmora and morrowind pre-release next year big hype
They sound good. I want the Skywind mod though. It's about time Morrowind and Oblivion got more recognition.
Great video.. always love hearing about new mods. Though it would be more helpful if it was mentioned what platforms the mods are available. For example, I don’t have Skyrim for PC but Xbox one so I’m more interested in mods I can actually download.
I'm glad you released this video, I was looking for some ps4 mods
The aesthetic of the dungeons in the first mod remember me of the ancient ruins present on Mass Effect Andromeda
Beautiful and very alien to the base Skyrim aesthetic
I love that you included Wintersun! It's one of my favorite mods! I finally get to fully worship both the All-Maker and Hircine! I was mad at first that there were race requirements because as a Khajiit, I want to worship both without limitations - thank God these things can be turned off!
Thanks for doing these!
One mod I don't think I've ever seen you mention, that I think definitely deserves a shout out is Hunterborn. It's a hunting mod, where you can level up in hunting, skin just about any animal/monster and gather new ingredients based off your hunting level.
If we had a medium armor classification, a lot of those armors from GAR would be good for that. Like if the original Gaurd Armor set was the light/medium light armor, and this new armor that is thicker would be medium to medium heavy.
Can't you see I'm doing the Fishstick? It's a very delicate state of mind.
Wintersun is definitely one of my favorites. Which is why I started doing a series of playthroughs based on its roleplaying potential.
There are some videos I wish I could give a double thumbs up. This is one of them.
Kudos! Those a some mighty nice mods to try out.
Amazing how much content can fit inside such a small game
Nate is the GOAT. Thanks for the content man!
Your video really wants me to reinstall skyrim. Again!
By the way do you use the new skyrim or the old one?
And what version is better for all those mods that came out the recent years? Special editon or oldrim?
Hi Nate, been following these skyrim mod videos for years. Problem is, sometimes, when I try to add another 5 mods to my list of 200, my game breaks. Surprising, right? Anyway, I was wondering if you've ever considered doing a video on how you troubleshoot your mod list when you get crashes and stuff, would be very helpful
Awesome content as usual ... just one more mod ... just one more ! Any updates for Skyblivion by 2020?, please.

"this year my criteria is very simple, the mods that i just personally liked the most"
oh im ashamed, i haven't been playing skyrim this year, shameful, so shameful. okay, i shall embark on this journey once again 2020
@@Kyle_Spivis yep, definetely. took my time mastering my 1000+ mods and load order in this new playthrough
Nice work :D
Skyrim’s like
Me: I wish I could change my armor look
Skyrim: we got that
Me: I wish that I could have 10 houses
Skyrim: Got it
Me: I wish that I could...
Skyrim: Got that to
Me: I didn’t finish talking
Skyrim: We know but we have it all
I wish I could play this game vanilla without any mod patches without having my quest lines break midway through
@@PedroCosta-qs7wr
You can, you simply create duplicate ESPs of every mod you have, except these are blank .ESPs that dont do anything.
Bam, problem solved
Great video.
I have faith that Nate will cover Legacy of the Dragonborn V5 again once it comes out tomorrow.
Remember when you discover the story and the musics of Enderal for the first time ? Damn that was good
Hey, Nate, You should do a review on the mod that’s being updated about the home of the Sun Elves, or Sonmer, the Midwood Isles. You really should since I found it fun with it’s multiple unique weapons that I loved, and an incredible story line, though there aren’t really many Voice Lines yet.
I’m getting a pc for Christmas and I’m just finding all these mods I’ve been playing Skyrim since 2012 and I’ve seen all these good mods now I’m jacked on mods

carved brink creators be like: youre breathtaking!
I can't wait to see what the next Skyrim will be
Hey Nate, did you know that if you use the clear skies shout next to Octieve San in solitude, that there is a chance for him to say "My ears!" Which is the only character that I have heard say that, and I use clear skies in cities all the time to try and trigger the note from a friend interactive
My favourite mod of the year is definitely New Legion, love the armour designs.
great video!
Dude after years im back again with the Anniversary Edition on the Ps5 and watching all your Vids again for the 100time and its still never Boring after all these years xD so pls keep going until we will finally get a real New Elder Scrolls no online xD o think we all just want to " Elder Scroll " sometimes
This is such a cool game
I dont regret Buying it
And this Channel realy helped me seeing more of Skyrims Features
Keep your videos going Nate
Ho ho ho, that Hold Guard armor replacer is really cool looking! I wanna try it ^_^
Thanks for the mods it’s nearing Christmas and I’m hoping to get the pc version of Skyrim (the console version doesn’t have good mods that aren’t from nexus or take up to much space to the point where I can’t get another mod) and I wanted to know some good mods to download when I get it and this list will help me know what mods are a must when downloading.
And Xbox has a limit for data usage that’s pretty glitchy And pc doesn’t
That's awesome, if you manage to get onto PC and you've never modded on PC before then I'd recommend checking out GamerPoets and Gopher's tutorials. They really helped me out when I was new :)
This is late but PC modding isnt as simple as downloading and sorting your load order as it is on console. Make sure to look up good tutorials on how to
Could this one link the nexus link in the description?
Honestly, the modders of this game just blow me away, the creativity within them is simply astounding.
Next intro be like "Skyrim Thicc"
You are Breathtaking Nate
U should a top 5 for each catergory of mods. Eg. Weapons; Armours; Quest mods. Etc.
so there are still quests that i didnt able to finish in carved brink eh? such a huge huge amazing mod! i dont know where is the sorcerer after i saw him at the faceted stones tho.. tho i thought its finished coz i have imp as follower . thank you! and amzaing lists! should DL others :)

Loved the vid as usual :D
So excited for 2020

If you’re running out of synonyms for big start mixing words like hugantic or ginormous! 😂
Nate let's not forget about skyblivion. Even though it's not out yet, I would count it as an honorable mention at least
Man, these were awesome, but how did you narrow down to just 5. With Mods like Beyond Skyrim, Skyblivion, and many others out there it’s insane
Is someone able to tell me the wind blowing effect shown at 0:29? This effect has been stuck in my savegame for months now and I have not been able to fix it.
Hold on a second, is that Reginald d'Aubry
from The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine at 10:20 ? Looks incredibly similar if not identical.
Question will the old kingdom armor overhaul conflict with gaurd armor replacer? Because I really want gaurd armor replaced but old kingdom just looks so good
my Conjuration/Sneak Build is Werewolf Thief with master conjuration spells includes pets and followers:
this build is pretty well rounded in the terms of magic and melee , in your human form you use different types of thralls to help you in battle if your caught by enemies or being a very sneaky thief and using Sneak attacks to kill your enemies., other side of this build is the Werewolf form which is complete melee and going fully berserk in battle, in your Werewolf form you can use your extremely enhanced Health and Stamina to maul your enemies, also you can use your wolf howls to summon more werewolves to help you in battle to make you even stronger. also remember to have a Followers and pets to back you up when your battling or even changing into your Werewolf form while your follower and pet distracts the enemies.
the Game plan for this build is you to use sneaky thief to kill your enemies if you get caught by them than you use your Conjuration spells to help win the battle, if you have your follower and pet with you your last resort could be using your werewolf form to finished the fight while summoning more wolfs to help you against your enemies.

Hey Nate, do you think you could do a mod list for fun but small mods? Mods that would be good for those of us who have low-power PCs.
Sorry for asking this again but can you put the list of the hud and graphics mods in your video descriptions. i know youve made a video but I dont know if its outdated or not
Holy crap, Carved Brink looks awesome.
Thx for this mods skyrim never gets old
I haven’t played Skyrim in while but these mods made want to play again. The guard mod specifically sparked my interest. I hated how everyone had no sleeves and Skyrim is supposed be “cold and unforgiving”
I don’t like using mods. But that one about the shouts and God’s seems really cool. But hey it’s an epic nate video and I’m here for his video. I love them
