This guy should and could have been a legendary candidate. The way he stares down Sugar and doesn’t flinch in his presence and answers questions ridiculously for giggles.
I don't understand how anyone could have any shame in being an Accountant. Being an Accountant is an very hard earnt privilege, a privilege to be proud of.
It's more of the boring tag attached to it which then insinuates that the person is boring once they introduce themselves as an accountant. It's hardly glamorous work and the salary tends to plateau unless you can make the jump into a higher position which is not directly an accounting position (1 in 500 chance).
He has really poor people skills. The fact that he mentioned he was the youungest and SHORTEST, makes me feel that he's very self conscious that he's short and probably has a short man complex.
Just spoken to someone who worked with this guy. You know how the edit can make someone look stupid? Well the editor actually improved this guy. Total G!
Lord Sugar was right about not being ashamed. If you are good at something which can provide you with a decent living, who cares what other people think? Just live your best life!
There's one good bit that's missing here.... Lord Sugar: Had you worked out what price you were going to sell them (orange juices) for? Ed: Lord Sugar my business model is bottom up, not top down... production is productivity and sales are something which take care of themselves. Lord Sugar: Cut the crap will you, I asked you a simple bloody question!
@@tylerdurden786 Just wait until you’re in an internal meeting with one and a head of department who overspends on something because there was no choice…
This guy clearly had a chip on his shoulder and came across as very immature. He didn't want to be seen as the stereotypical boring accountant but he was trained at a top tier auditing firm, probably one of the big 4, and that's quite prestigious in the world of finance. Besides, the role of an accountant has evolved so much over the years.

They messed up getting rid of Edward first week. You've gotta keep the characters and the prats around for a few weeks. Makes it more entertaining.
My brother and I still say "it's all there." when the need arises.

But he wasn't happy doing it, so why wouldn't he look for something else?
I'm reminded of this every couple of years, only thing missing is 'Roll with the punches' 😂
The best part is, he takes two and a half seconds to count to five.
He looks like he eats vast amounts of hummus and keeps it all in his pockets.
Should of hired the guy as a comedian lol
he rolls his eyes at lord sugar!!! MY GOD YOU DONT DO THAT!!!

This guy is a straight up G.
lol he's trying to stare down Alan Sugar because he knows he's going. His way of leaving an impression.
What a pick
he is amazing
“I’ve got no shame in being an accountant but I already was one” - Ed
This is the kind of thing Beetlejuice from the Howard Stern show would say
“I wanna buzz them for 5 seconds no more than 5 seconds”
*Counts for 2 and a half seconds*
- Also Ed
You missed the 'roll with the punches bit.'
I actually admire accidental accountants (most of them are)
Im also the shortest
You know you've had it when you've said.
honestly, that is how it happened they edited some of the other stuff but thanks to Ed this was funny enough left untouched
He meant that he didn't fit the mould of being a stereotypical accountant, because they are peceived as dull, unimaginative number-crunchers.
ticklecreek Well it's true
@@tylerdurden786 no not true. Have u ever seen some of the work they do. They work up to 12 hours and do work no one else wants to do
@@hill1629 Yes because the work is dull, unimaginative etc
