Mini-review / personal comments :
Design wise, I still prefer the old aerial because it fits more as a 'witch' mobile suit. However the rebuild wins by far with articulation and the build quality, it feels more smooth and one issue I had with the old aerial is that the joints are extremely tight/stiff. Not sure if it's just mine but the rebuild is much easier to pose, plus that GUND-BIT Cannon :O

Thanks! If you use tamiya's one, make sure to not get too much ink to prevent overflowing. Then wait for it to dry, I recommend about half an hour or longer is fine. For the thinner, again don't get too much on your cotton bud or cloth and wipe it gently on the part so you won't accidentally remove the lining that should be on there.
