Maybe not everyone is paid but some teachers and faculty members do this when it comes to elections. I know because as a preteen and a teen, I myself participated in these protests although none of them were violent. But we did walk outs and teachers/professors allowed us to skip class or the entire school day but we had to show them proof that we went to the protest. Oh and yeah and if you ask me what we protested for ....well I couldn't tell yeah. It's sad I know.

@@jillbelas7266 These people are admitted students who've paid tuition. They're not trespassing. The pertinent question is what specifically in USC's written policies are these students violating.
Furthermore, despite being a private university, USC is federally accredited and it receives funding by way of federal student aid programs. Therefore USC is obligated to follow federal laws and regulations. The university is not completely independent from the government.
