It's definitely going to be a bunch of interesting videos when we get to them. Got quite a few videos to get to that point, but we're shooting for two videos a week starting next Sunday to catch us up faster. I think as a creator, you'll appreciate the thumbnail for our Roswell video. Caitlyn hit it out of the park with the design.

Thanks Ray. My bike was fine, Caitlyn's... well you'll have to see when we get to those videos. I'm doing pretty good now five months later, although at times the ankle gives me problems. Probably be that way for a bit. Life is great, hope you're doing well!!

I should have broken mine in Baja. I travelled down with two buddies and we had no idea what we were doing. We ended up on some sketchy trails. I went down hard numerous times with too much gear on the bike. I did end up doing some significant damage to my arm that required physical therapy, but was able to ride back. I look back with amazement I wasn’t hurt more, and overall it was an amazing adventure. Hope you heal well!
But I'm sure you left Baja with some great stories! Thanks, I'm looking forward to be mobile again one of these days!

OH, what fun!!!! I've broken my ankle when hit some soft sand and got my foot stuck in the sand while dropping my 900 lb. bike on it. I know it's absolutely no fun!!!! Do stay put and give it plenty of time to heal as rebreaking it is much worse!!!!
Thanks Pete! I've been resting in a bed since the surgery. Looking forward to being able to explore La Paz, as I haven't been able to go anywhere other than the hospital since I've been here. Also missing the motorcycle!

Sorry about your ankle, I’ve enjoyed your videos. ……about that ankle…and the boots? Can you tell us if you were wearing your ADV Boots?….and how the injury occurred. Iam wanting to buy the Forma Boots…..but now I am looking more closely at protection that ADV boots offer. Your experience means a lot to those of us who are “about to invest in adv boots”.

Ironically, I wrote a script before I got hurt to do a long term review on the Forma ADV Boots. Previously I've never had an injury, even when dropping bikes on my foot. With this specific crash, I might have been ok if I had full blown MX boots. Basically I crashed in deep sand, put my foot down trying to save it, and it got twisted and landed underneath the bike. Because I took off the side bags (long story), the pannier rack landed on my ankle in a spot that wasn't super protective thus breaking it.
It's definitely possible I still would have been injured with MX boots (I sprained my ankle too) but I think it would have saved me from the fractures. I had two of them.
Light off-road and travel, ADV boots are fine.
If you are really going to push it hard off-road on a big bike, probably should get MX boots and play it safe.

Boots on. If I had full fledge MX boots on I might have been ok. Unfortunately anything other than MX boots didn't stand a chance at protecting my ankle.
