  • Here's the tech walk round to go with the live ride review of Haibike's cost effective sweet spot XDURO ALL MTN 3.0 Bosch powered all rounder.
    Thanks for Haibike UK distributor Raleigh for sponsoring a completely honest pros and cons assessment of their bike. Cheers to Mr Crud for the test XL fender and Gore Bike Wear, Mavic, Bell and Endura for the kit worn while testing. Thanks to Nidderdale, North Yorkshire for the freezing but beautifully bright February morning.
    Any questions get busy in the comments below, thanks for watching, sharing, liking, subscribing and please give supporting the Patreon channel some consideration because that'll properly float my boat with getting more content on here.

    My bike came with SRAM NX and I I initially planned to upgrade once it was warn out, well a year later it's still going strong and I've put it through hell, I even got driven into at low speed by a car witch only bent the hanger, unbelievable performance for the price if you can live without the fancy asthetic

    Nice review . You should explain the advantages of a multi link pivot rear suspension vs a single pivot setup. There is a difference !

    Hi mate,great reviews have subscribed but could you mention prices in your reviews to save us searching for them after.😎🇦🇺👍

      Thanks Stephen and sorry for the delay. I know it's a pain in the arse finding them afterwards but I leave prices out as they can obviously change during the period that the videos are online and as they're watched globally now each country will have different pricing. I appreciate the feedback though.

    Would this be a good alternative to my 2018 Specialized Kenevo expert? I'm more about speed than having the top parts (I do quite light work on my bike, such as riding over hills and trails 😂)
    My main requirements are torque and getting up hills the quickest.

    • @GuyKesTV
      @GuyKesTV  Před 4 lety +3

      Benny Walker if you want max torque then have a look at the Haibike’s with the Fly-on motor. Those are crazy!

    Currently looking between this and the 2.0 which would motor would you say works better? The 75NM Bosch on this or the 80NM Yamaha on the 2.0?

    • @GuyKesTV
      @GuyKesTV  Před 4 lety

      Jake Oldfield the motor is OK but the geometry on the Yamaha bike isn’t as up to date as the Bosch bike.

    I’ve just ordered one. After using it for a lengthy if time is it holding up. And I’ve read that it has noisy chain rattle so can you let me know your thoughts

      George W. Kush yes I agree it’s s great bike for the price and definitely turns heads

    • @tzwc3571
      @tzwc3571 Před 4 lety

      It’s not a chain rattle. The small sprocket is spinning at high rpm. chain /sprocket contact noise. Keep the chain lubed , replaced w ebike chain when sign of wear.

    I was looking at the prices of ENDURO MOTORCYCLES and can buy one of them for LESS than an eBike!
    How are these eBike prices justified?

    • @GuyKesTV
      @GuyKesTV  Před 5 lety +3

      Yeah, it is hard to justify at first site. There's generally a lot faster development/turnover on MTBs than motorbikes though so they've got less time to earn their R&D money back. They produce far more versions/sizes etc. that add to the unit price as well. Plus making motorbike tech like shocks etc smaller and lighter actually takes a ton of effort. That's what I'm told whenever I ask the same question, but on the surface it does look daft.

    Bought this bike and put it up for sale after one ride... The brakes are a joke. There should be at least a 10-46 cassette on there. The saddle is a pain in the ass after 2 minutes uphill. The hubs are cheap china ones with Haibike printed on. I was looking for an optical upgrade from my Canyon Spectral on with external battery but I am keeping my Canyon for sure.
