Can't lie to you Girish...you missed so many words to this song and then the mic mishap (that is not your fault) but the forgetting of words and even whole lines is not good even live. This one disappointed me. I won't blow sunshine up your fanny when you don't do good and I won't lie when you are awesome! This was not good on your part; the band did a really good job though. I liked how you got the crowd into it...that is what good performers do. I don't know what your first language is or if English is it; but I couldn't understand quite a few words. I would like to hear your originals then maybe I wouldn't be so harsh, but I know this song like the back of my hand and I know the words...you said rain, when it is pain. Axl didn't want to see an ounce of pain in his daughter's eyes...not rain... She's got eyes of the bluest skies As if they thought of rain I'd hate to look into those eyes and see an ounce of pain Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place Where as a child I'd hide And pray for the thunder and the rain to quietly pass me by. My parents on both sides taught us kids to memorize words to songs verbatim; even if it was their originals, because people would notice...maybe not the drunks but the sober people sure as heck would. I still have my Mom and Stepdad's handwritten books when they wrote out songs they sang or wrote themselves and sang! Don't be po'd I am this way with everyone who sings; so, again, if you nail it and it is awesome, I will let you know. The hardest person to become a fan is someone who does critique songs; but like I wrote on another post of yours...I get on my own brothers' band for it too if they mess up. The voice is there, but you can't just not sing lines without someone noticing it. It wasn't like a member of the band was doing a solo when you dropped lines either; because when people sing or play live they do more solos on drums, guitars, etc.. I love and am a huge fan of my brothers, cousins, etc...but they don't get a pass, so why would a stranger to me?
I recently discovered Girish bro.... Damn...... bro is god gifted. I would buy ticket genuinely if he ever visit Arunachal.
