One of our finest composers in American history. He took the documentary, “The Times of Harvey Milk” and turned it into a masterpiece.

Gênio ! I've been following Mark's music for the cinema for many years. I still have my first cassette tape: Mrs Soffel, The Times of Harvey Milk and Never cry wolf. Greetings direct from Brazil. joseph

I've seen Mark back with Rubisa Patrol, a group with Dave Liebman, opened two shows for Group 87, saw him with Van Morrison a few times and with David Sylvian. Plus all those fils. One of the great artists of our time.

I have to add. After showing this to my 5 year old, he’s convinced he wants a trumpet. And I’m pretty sure I’m going to get him one. I wish I had got my trombone in elementary school instead of jr. high.

Nice and sensitive performance.... Finally electronics and trumpet again. Buchla... Great device full of surprises. Recently saw Suzanne Ciani go loose on it. Like playing with dices, never knowing what comes out. Thanks Mark for this intimate performance, stay healthy and create more beautiful gems for our ears and hearts. Kind Regards from the Netherlands

So on top of things at the right moment with the right note coming through your horn. Impressive indeed, also well thought through compositions. None of it is superficial, it goes quite deep, pioneering and presenting us a new world of music. You are an explorer for me with the head in the skye, yet your feed still grounded to not go "too far". Thank you very much.

I love your work on Romeo is Bleeding, First time I ever heard any of your work was on that score, Gary Oldman is one of my favorite actors and The whole entire score was wonderfully put together for that film, that is my All time favorite score from you. Also In The Valley of Elah , that track “upside down” is so beautiful. I do follow your work , I love the trumpet 🎺 and you play it very well. Chris Botti is another favorite. I am very happy you did this video because I got chance to hear some of your work I never heard before. Thank you Mark !!!

Wonderful show. Have lots of his CDs since the 80s and he is getting better with ages. We used to have many great artist coming to perform in Hong Kong during the late 80s early 90s but those days are gone. Glad i can still get his new materials in a few record shops here though. Thanks for the music.
