Amazing! Yeah, I guess I'll never get a real classic car now. Just too many miles on me. But, instead I pick up a 1:18 diecast when I can and put them on display in my game room. I've got about 100 shown. And with a cup of coffee I'll sit in my game room and look at them. Like having a little car show available at any time. See ya -- Atco
I am a collector to this is a beautiful collection one of the best I have ever seen My collection is currently in boxes I lost count of how many I have I collect anything with wheels on it I have A huge collection of 118 scale At last count oval 1000 I don't even remember how many Nash cars I have I hope one day I can put it all together Like his collection Beautiful absolutely beautiful
I love diecast too buddy ,, I’ve been collecting for a long time also ..... lots of brands and makes all mixed up in those cases .... never gets old looking at them either .. thanks for showing
I use to have a collection of 1/43 Road Champs police cruisers, every state and a lot of locals. And Code 3 1/24 Crown Vics, I still have my county cruiser, I sold everythin else.
Love it. I need some display cases. Had a crippling career ending injury which suddenly halted all income. Waiting on Disability. and waiting..... Anyway, I own approximately 100 Danbury and Franklin mint 1:24 cars. Most have never been displayed. 80% are muscle cars from 60's to early 70's. I designated my loft for two things. 1) a music room for my gutars, pedals, amps, etc and its all set up. 2) It just kills me that many of these cars are not being seen. Cannot wait to build a display to show- off these pieces. I'd like to take a moment to share the disgust I now have for insurance companies and lawyers. Legal thieves that sicken me. I hope there is such a thing as karma. All others, PEACE from Philadelphia.
Wow nice collection. Hearing you mention Milan dragway brings back memories. My high school used to have a drag club and we would go to Milan and run the school cars. Good times. :)
Very nice! Just as good as Jay Lenos garage. Wish I would have kept my hot wheels, matchbox, tyco and afx! Oh and my whirley bird helicopter! It all went to a good cause though. Hope they enjoyed it as much as I did.
I love collecting diecast cars, but my collection is small, because of the price of some cars. I'm a disabled veteran, and I only get paid once a month, and after bills and groceries there's not much left for my hobby. I sometimes have to save for months to get a car I want.
I collect die cast as well but my collection is tiny compared to this one. My brother has the complete American Graffiti set. Between us we have a decent collection but nothing like this one. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the vids Scottie. Always enjoy your features. About the American metric badging a little trivia for you: Besides the 6.5 Litres on the GTO badge, in '66 and '67 Ford had a 7 liter Galaxie with a big 7 liter insignia on the front fenders. I believe the 7 liter Galaxie came out before the GTO. Keep up the good work..
That is a amazing collection of mostly American made cars! I have a large collection of mostly European cars. I am probably in Ron's age and my kids are not interested. If I kick the bucket my wife probably sell them in a garage sale $5 each! We should set up a co-op diecast model cars museum somewhere for the general public to view and charge an entrance fee like a few bucks! Anyone interested?
