    that's pretty amazing really; though i think you need 3 things to make it even more accurate:
    A) highly vivid but very low opacity strobe effect. each individual floater is constantly shuffling through colors near the peaks of cones perception range
    B) gradient variations in opacity through a given floater
    C) slightly morphing relative to the drift of each floater

      Mine don't change colour. They're always either brown in dim light or clear in bright light

      You’ll get used to it later. However you might meet the ophthalmologist if it make you feel better.

      You’ll get use because your brain will remember and those floaters will move theirselves to the edge of eyes so you won’t see them a lot.
      If you feel fatigue or exhaust with them you’ll keep seeing them.

      @@uncleben7975 Hello. Recently I just recognized that there is one single wavy line about 1cm in my eyes, dancing as I move my sight. May I ask question, is it a floater or is it a Glaucoma? I've been terrified by this.

    Mine swoosh around a lot more than that except for the one that always seems to end up in the dead centre that I hate. I could live with all the rest of them except for that one.

      Yes, the floaters that "rest" in the center of one's visual field can be quite disruptive to one's vision. There are treatments available though very few surgeons offer them. david-richardson-md.com/what-are-eye-floaters/

      @@kaifkamal6512yes. Most of the Ophthalmologists I have seen pat me on the head and tell me I will learn to ignore them as they lead me out of the office.

      That’s my case. There is ONE that irritates me more than all the other ones. The rest tend to be in the corners and are forgettable, but there is one in the center of my left eye that stays in front of everything I want to look, being worse outside.

    are the cloudy ones normal? i have so many and they stay in the same spot while moving kind of like static

      Yes. There are many types of "normal" floaters. They tend to be of concern only when new or when associated with flashes of light or a loss of visual field.

      @@DrDavidDRichardsonMDSanMarino I'm so happy I found this video. It scares people and makes them think they are going blind or something. I do have flashes, but have had them since I was 8. Caffeine makes it worse. I am 53 now. I now have the cloudy ones that shimmer in a watery effect. I know I need new glasses and have gone without them for a few years, straining my eyes.

    My floaters are much much worse than this simulation and I have it in both eyes, been told there is nothing they can do for them in UK , what i have should be disability I don't know how much longer I can work for, getting depressed

      How old are you? And how long do you have them ?
      I have also this black long long lines.. longer than in this video.
      I am since months depressed it’s so hard to accept this.

    I have degenerative myopia and developed cataracts post-Subcapsular and cortical in both eyes. Experienced vitreous detachments in both eyes after cataract surgery and now I have huge floaters in my visual field and they don’t stay still they sway around in my vision. It’s horrible. I had my surgery in Jan 2020 at 48 years old.

      Floaters can be very bothersome. There is now a treatment for a subset of floaters. It is called laser floater lysis or simply laser floater treatment. You may wish to search out someone in your area who is doing this.

      Seek a full PVD induced vitrectomy. Since your vitreous is already degrading so badly and you already have cataract surgery you should be more than qualified to have one.

    Personally,compared to this video my floaters are not that active,i only get see these things when my eyes and mind want to focus on them and ussualy i only notice them when i stare at the sky and rarely at the wall

    I have something that looks like black cobwebs moving super fast in my line of vision. This happens when I am drowsy and falling asleep. It scared me because I am not a superstitious person. I am looking for a logical explanation. I want it to be an eye issue. It so disturbing it seems like a something I need to consult a priest or psychic about.

      There exist cobweb-like floaters that are either see through or black, yes

      That’s a Weiss ring from a posterior vitreous detachment. I had one as well

      They're always there, it's just that they're easier to see in the sky because of the brightness outside and the contrast the floaters create on a monocolor background.

      They eventually settle at the bottom of the eye out of your field of vision.
