There’s also a simple acronym to remember the job of the kidney. It’s called a WATERBED.. W=Water fluid regulation A=Acid-Balance T=Toxin removal E=Electrolyte balance R=Removal of waste products B=Blood pressure regulation E=Production of Erythropoiesis D= Vitamin D activation 😊
It helped me remember the job of the kidney, maybe it helps you too?
Thanks so much swiss babe 🙏🙏🙏

I appreciate the information on the urinary system. I am informed that diabetes insipidus is caused by lack of vasopressin resulting to excessive undiluted urine. Now my question is what could be the cause of this problem? Is it the malfunction of the pituitary or other interference in the urinary system?
Thanks!
You're welcome!
And thank you for the Super Thanks!
Awsome❤
I wish you could explain what happens when one kidney is much smaller and is considered a floating kidney that resides in front of the pelvis as opposed to where it belongs near the back lumbar area. How does that affect movement and the function of the kidney system? No one has explained it to me to my satisfaction since that is my anatomical position and how that affects my overall health. I bet you could explain it to my understanding and give me some insight as to what I have suffered as a child. I lost the use of both my limbs at 4 years old and no one has ever explained why. It might have to do with my kidney dysfunction. I don’t know.
Great
Hi doc where is the renal pelvis?
there was a tiny stone stuck in my left uterus two years ago..that pain was quite unforgettable 😂
Good
Yout amazing
How smart are you❤️❤️❤️❤️
❤
❤❤❤
Congratulation.
I wish you were my professor.
could someone consume their recommended daily intake of sugar, drink lots of water and urinate it out in a few hours and then consume more sugar?
This video goes hard af my nword😮💨
nah u cringe asf ☠☠
4:23 on an unrelated note, if you do have blood in your urine, that’s probably not a good sign
it's a lot of things that should not be in your urine such as bile, glucose, protein, blood like you said and the list goes on. for instance, glucose in the urine is a sign on diabetes.
@@letichatate7319 that’s a good point! I agree!
❤❤❤🇿🇲🇿🇲🇿🇲
Why did they use blue and red to indicate the vains
Red demonstrates oxygen rich blood. Blue demonstrates blood with low oxygen levels.
🫠
What is the size of the kidneys.
The size of a fist
It is also bean shaped
0:15 you didn't wash your hands!!?!?
Haha! I promise I always wash my hands.
😂😂😂😂
