- You've all probably watched shrek 2, and you might of played The Shrek 2 game before, but what if I told that their were two games called shrek 2 yet both were completely different from each other. For the next Dreamworks vid, let's take a look at both Shrek 2 Games and see if either of them have held up nowadays!!

Getting to beat up random civilians in Far Far Away
I used to play this game a lot with my friends as a kid.
I really like how they expanded on the movie, and introduced new stuff that adds more charm to the Shrek universe.
As for characters, Red Riding Hood (voiced by Tara Strong) was my favorite. She could jump high, spam apples at a range, and a really good jump attack.
Shrek surprisingly was one of the weaker characters for having slow attacks, a weak jump, and the npc enemies always tunnel visioned on him.
That game seems like it definitely didn't disappoint. I wouldn't mind playing and replaying it.

So not only Fiona was cursed for being an ogre, but she also has her only magical power which was her Matrix agility (in a fairy tale of the universe)
there were incredibly talented people at luxoflux, and this is just a proof of what they can do. sure, the game may drag out too long but the game is surprisingly solid, so sad activision shut them down due to a staff reduction
5:44 forgetting about the upgrades is completely normal sure they get shown in its own checklist when you pause the game but in order to buy the upgrades you have to talk to specific leprechauns that sells them to you (theres only 2 in the entire game 1 at the end of stage 5: walking the path and in a secret area in stage 8: prison break) most upgrades are expensive as hell ranging to about 1,200 coins but in return you basically become a boss killing machine (the puss in boots fight is a PRIME example). The upgrades are post game stuff and i only ever needed it when i went into the crash coliseum bonus stage.
Definitely one of the best licensed video games out there if you ask me (console version at least)
If you want a game that also expands from the movies Is both Madagascar games, it makes the worlds of movies seem much bigger

Shrek 2 is great. Does what a sequel should do. Expand upon the predecessor along with other things.
I haven't played the console or PC game but the former does look fun.
I'm assuming Shrek The Third will be next?
No shark tale is the next dreamworks game, shrek the third isn't until way later.

I think Shrek 2 for PC and Shrek 2 for consoles are two of the best movie tie-in games ever made. I had Shrek for PS2 growing up and it was my favorite game. My brother and I would replay it constantly. It's a great co-op experience. I played the PC version, Shrek 2: Team Action as an adult for a dose of nostalgia, and it did not let me down. It's still a marvelous game for the reasons you mentioned.
By the way, have you ever played Shrek SuperSlam? It's a great arena fighter in the vein of Power Stone. It worked fine on my Windows 10 laptop, and you can probably find it for consoles pretty easily.
is the PC version of the Shrek 2 game the same as the PS2 one or is the gameplay different?
I owned both Team Action and the Knowonder PC game, but I like Team Action better than the Knowonder PC game. Though, Team Action is actually more buggy than the Console game.

I love Shrek 2. It's easily the best Shrek video game.
I’ve only ever played the PC version, I got a gingerbread man recipe from it and we made them when I was a kid. I’m guessing it was called “Team Action” in the states because here in the UK it was just called “Shrek 2”. My childhood❤️
