Probably the only person in the world to own a phantom and a previa
and mclaren? lol
True.
and a Park Avenue
Winner hahaha
and a Hummer H2
I don't need it. I don't need it. I definitely don't need it.
I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
EEEEEEDDD ITTTTTTTTTT
Well,buy it
And if Hoovie burns the engine...? 😁
You can pick these up all day long for like $1500
Trade it for the broken Lambo. ;) lmao jk
hoovie's neighbours must be really confused when they see him park his rolls royce, then bring out his previa, and park it next to his mclaren MP4.
The would think its the cleaners 😆
lol
Be mindful of the supercharger oil in these. Most shops/mechanics don’t even realize there is an oil reservoir dedicated to the supercharger oil and running the level low can do some damage.
The oil is basically the same as gear diff oil. Like a 75w-90. On my 97 Previa SC at least there was no reservoir, just a drain bolt and small 1/2" maybe 3/4" sized yellow fill cap directly on the side of the supercharger. I used to change it myself about every 15,000 miles since gear oil is much longer lived than engine oil.
@@roochiecooch Hi may I ask where the SC is located? Is it under the Brake Master Cylinder near the airbox or on the passenger side below the alternator ? Thank you
"The Previa is ideal for families.
If you don't have a family yet, the Previa has a bed so you can start one."
Original Previa ad from the 90's
So much DNA in that old Previa, you can have a black light party?
😶
😮😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have no doubt some families were indeed started in the back of a Previa.
Too bad the Previa is an unsafe van for families. Which is a shame because I like the teardrop shape.
“It’s hard to find a low-mileage, clean, nice example.”
When has that stopped Hoovie before?
"It's hard to find a low-mileage, clean, nice example."
*Does multiple burnouts*
Guess you need new tires now
This vehicle is absolutely genius in every way. I would love to personally thank whoever designed this thing.
You didn't even mention the top speed... pretty sure I got this thing to 115 years ago! Love the Prev 💪
WatchJRGo that must have been extremely frightening!
Thats alot of years
stock town and countries will go like 120 lol
and siennas are limited to 120 aswell, still making it to that
I got mine to 115 but didn't want to wait the extra 30 seconds to get it to 120.
Hoovie buys another cheap used car in the USA
Everybody : Ah shit, here we go again
Has he bought any car outside the usa??

Well it is a Toyota.
Wichita, Kansas....home...at least it was until I did a burnout in a minivan.

1990s Toyota Plebeian! My parents had a 1990 Limited... they still say it was the best vehicle for comfort and visibility, cargo, and drivability. They took my 91 year old Grandfather on a 10 hour road trip once, and he stated, “he could go further”.
He made a review on this

Nice, you bought an egg van. Paint it white, get the interior redone in yellow and yer golden.
Then flip it
@@total360AMC oh that’s easy
Just get Richard Hammond
Hoovie's the type of guy to buy a Mclaren and a 90's minivan and end up enjoying them both equally much
i enjoy this more then the mclaren
I expect Tyler enjoys the Previa more than the McLaren. At the very least he can drive the Previa how and where he wants.
You might want to detail those back seats, people might of had a different idea for usage.
Powerful UV light, don't forget to check the ceiling too
worse than a hotel bed spread!
Star Trek? Almost.
Add a huge JDM spoiler and bam!!! ...
perfect Orville shuttle.
I knew the previa was an amazing van , but I was hesitating about the size , but when I found out that you could actually fit inside a 4'×8' plywood and actually closed the rear door... I was convinced to get my own, that's the best minivan ever made by man kind !
I congratulate my self and your self as well !
*Hoover does a one wheeled burnout*
Ehh thats whatever.
*Hoover falls back with his whole drivers seat*
BAHAHAHA
So glad to see a return to a hooptie! The luxury vehicles and super cars are cool, but I can’t browse for them on marketplace. My favorite episodes are the Buick and the Hyundai!!!
Agreed
He shouldn't have sold the Park Avenue Ultra
@@jrv128 agreed as well
Lmao I still look up park Avenues!
This would be an excellent first car. I sure wish I had all of that space in the back when I was younger. It's amazing what you can pull off in a compact car with a little determination and a lot of desire.

Miles did you just have a stroke say the end jesus, took me 5 times until I was able to understand.
Logic, he's just very relieved and excited to have his telephone back.
Miles, a bit of punctuation goes a long way for older eyes. Just an observation, my friend.
@@gordoeinstein, we don't wish to have the phone taken back in for questioning... nee, even into custody.
And yes, I just dropped "nee"... because I celebrate the occasion to drop the archaic and arcane into casual conversation. I feel it elevates the level of intelligence until the next round of farting, belching, scratching and swearing begins.
All valid activities, and ones I practice on a regular basis... but we let the lesson learn, for now.
the burnout at the begininng sounds like a car/ship from the Jetsons
Was thinking the same thing, fits the Previa perfectly.

I think because you dont hear the engine revving, that might be the raw sound of the tires

Doug: yeah, but why?
Hoovie: cuz i don't have enough money, i need the cheapest one
Did Hoovie just destroy a big screen TV for three seconds of amusement? What a legend.
I'm thinking it was already broken. I sure hope so. lol
All for the viewers
I'm surprised how far i had to scroll down to actually see this... Like seriously no one is mentioning it? I also don't think it was for amusement i think he just genuinely fked up and dropped it. But i guess we'll find out in a future video

White people having children in 2019? Doubtful.
I read that as "children's Tylenol."
My buddy's parents had a Ford Aerostar with the 4.0L V6, auto with 8.8" rear end, it could do the fattest burnouts at will and drifts. It was my first burn out experience and have been hooked ever since.
Some had 5 speed manuals
@@bobanmilz6512 we had a 4.0L 5 speed aerostar when I was growing up.
I've done quite a few burnouts in an Aerostar.
My brother has a 1992 extended length 5 speed manual overdrive ford aerostar two toned red and grey in wonderful shape. He loves it along with all the aerostars we've ever owned.
There's a guy in south Florida with a built 5.0 liter V8 in an Aerostar.....
We had one growing up and I'm just now appreciating it. This is taking me back big time
I saw one of these in black with deep dish mags and a pushbar. it looked amazing.
Doug should do a video on Hoovie with all of his quirks and features, and then give him a Doug score.
DBeav97 funfact: doug already did a review of the previa years ago haha so is it a coincidence that hoovie bought one now?
Dominik Reisenbauer he/She means review Hoovie as a person
It's a good idea, but I would believe the video would be far too long as Hoovie would have so many quirks and an unlimited amount of hidden features. And then does that mean, Doug would have to "drive" Hoovie afterwards? 🙈
Kenneth Namalomba why are you assuming their gender is he/she? You misogynistic sexist TRIGGERED
He and big daddy Doug are over paid for making ridiculous videos on CZcams (not even tv) and writing a column. I watch them all but resent both of them
These are the Hoovie videos I enjoy. Junk cars, creative writing/editing and pop culture references. Good job!
Jason Rudge I loves theses types of cars over the rolls and his white powerhouse
Totally agree. Great to see the old Hoovie back
Junk? JUNK you say??!
I guess you can use the Previa to carry the parts for the rest of the hooptie fleet.

I have a '95 Previa S/C that I bought new in 1995. 202, 000+ miles and still going strong. I am a trek fan too, license plate holder states "Star Trek Fan Forever, ST/OS, ST/NG, ST/VG and ST/DS9" This van has cost me very little to maintain, except of course the A/C that had to be overhauled last month after all these years. What Hoovie failed to mention was the versatility of the configuration he has. Despite the fold up rear seats, with the middle seat out you can carry 10 - 12 4x8 sheets of drywall or plywood, flat on the floor and still close the rear hatch.... Who needs a pickup of truck if you have a Previa!
Has been looking for a "nice" Previa for years.... All else aside, Tyler is UNQUESTIONABLY and COMPLETELY out... of... his.. mind!!!

It's basically a ford gt
Take that daddy doug!
but does it have quirks and features?
Had a 93 previa. Bulletproof. Super practical. Really charismatic ^_^ like the vibe of Herbie. Looks really good with a nice set of rims. Even with stock ride height.
Awesome!! I love my '91 Previa even more after watching this.
I got a previa with 300k miles for 300 dollars.
The transmission just went after 3 months. It only drives in reverse now
Surely that's not a problem, given the terrific all-round visibility.

DarkCityDave tip: buy from old people! just found a 93 VW eurouvan with 96k on it, for $2,000...find of a lifetime!
Our family car after the XF Falcon wagon died in '02 was a '97 Toyota Tarago Getaway II. Aside from a blown head gasket a couple of years ago it's been trouble free for more than 20 years. Great for camping, hauling work tools or carrying 6 kids to school. Mum bought a new Tarago about 10 years ago, we still use the old wombat as a backup car.

Also swap K20
I thought you were kidding about the mid engine part. That is just crazy.
What an amazing purchase. Congratulations on buying, yet another, iconic legend. It was a smart and calculated purchase. You will make $$$ on this baby. I would bet... that with just one new tyre (or swap the spare), you could ‘easily’ ask over three grand! (and yes, I spelled Tire ...t,y,r,e ... the proper way). You welcome Tyler, you know that we all love you.. now go to show that Previa to the Wizzard haha. Take care Hoovie
The first car I ever drove was my Dad's 1984 Toyota Van so I like this video and this would make a great daily beater for my family as well as hauler for when we are working on rental properties.
I had a '93 LE and had it for more than a dozen years and traveled from Key West to Yellowstone (pulling a pop-up trailer). Great van and extremely useful. Ours had the center captains chairs that would swivel around to face backwards. Kids thought that was really cool.
I had a 1993 Aerostar. Took it to the Indy 500 twice. Loved that van!
Aerostars were the best 90s van imo
blue I looked at a 93 for 2000$ should I snipe it
The interior door panels from the Aerostar were used in the Ford EXP, only they were backwards when used in that car.
Ha! We have one of these. So does the mother in law. They are unbreakable!
I got my first Previa 9-months ago too. Love them so much
Those Trek references make me nerd out way more than I should over a minivan.... And that Picard facepalm truly sold it for me! Can’t wait to see the Shuttlecraft rolling around Wichita!
YES! YES! YESSS!! I knew this was coming, but I didn't know when! That wonderful van is so quirky it was inevitable!
This really is my favorite video of yours Hoovie. I also share the same fascination with oddball cars like you do
completely agreed with your reasons for liking it.
have been thinking for a long time that it would be worth taking this concept, and executing it really well
That’s crazy how I literally had this minivan on my mind earlier this week and couldn’t think of the name for the life of me. Thanks for the purchase as well as the specs
I bought on new with the AWD when we had kids. Great van. Had it for 18 years. Great visibility and interior space. A real highway cruiser.

Wards of the state because of vehicular embarrassment abuse.
All I know of this car is it's mid engined and one was used years ago in a top gear episode for the Historical People Carrier Racing Championship 😂
I remember! That's a very cool piece of old Top gear.
A few reasons I love you as a creator.
1.)While you have merch, you don't push it every single video.
2.)you're goofy and funny, yet have a serious side when necessary.
3.)you go out of your way to find ridiculous cars and spend your money to entertain us, the viewers.
4.)while you do take sponsorships (nothing wrong with that) you don't normally do 2+minutes per video of sponsors like some creators.
5.)you actually acknowledged your success and your new house, and thanked us, the people who consume your content for the reason you can do what you love. You never see a lot of big creators actually thanking the fans for things like this, and it was nice to see.
Love it, I really enjoy when you grab yourself an older car like this and play with it like this! Look out for a Chrysler Grand Voyager. I had the non-stow-n-go 2004 version and LOVED IT so much, I bought another. I'm now contemplating a 3rd one.

Your videos are so entertaining, yet quite informative! Thank you! Why wouldn't I want to watch them?
I found this video when looking up info about these. I'm about to go look at a 95 previa camper van. Big cargo basket on top AND an awning, lol. We got in a wreck here in Phoenix (we live in MI) and are stranded. My car that was wrecked is a 93 Toyota Camry Wagon with 50K original on it. I'm heart broken!! ANYWAYS - we're about to go buy this van and I'm stoked now. GREAT video. You seem like our people, lol. This is exactly how I would make a video like this.
Owned one of these in AU for years, here is trivia about the previa in Australia, we don't have that seat flipping back problem on Drivers side "which is good" it's on passenger side which OEM think was designed in Japan and named Tarago or import Estima in AU.
It's true about how it sits on road for road handling ,great for long trips back in the day.
The End came when headgasket blew the 2nd time @over 400,000km on the van.
stigonutube Yep Previa head gaskets. We see a ton of these vans in NZ and petrol or diesel engines have legendary head gasket issues. So many Toyota engines of this era did.
I had a car with the weak head gasket problem. If I hit traffic it could overheat and blow the gasket. So I fitted a switch inside the car and ran the wires to the electric fan thermostat in the radiator.
As soon as I hit traffic I'd switch on the fan and the engine never got hot so it never blew the gasket again.
@@Google_Does_Evil_Now yes however only so long they will keep running in that state of failure of headgasket, mine started loosing coolant and then hydrolocked in piston the 2nd time round..great vans but was time to say goodbyee

FYI, these came in 5-speed Manual as well, I had one in the early 2000's as my moto transporter, now they are getting super expensive!
I got my first police experience on one of these. At 15 1/2 years old. I got in so much trouble. This is the exact van I learn how to drive with no one teaching me. Again. I got in so much trouble. Ahhhhhh. The good old 90's.
I learned how to drive in a Toyota Previa, which was lovingly designated "the toaster on wheels". It's practically a moving van you can put so much stuff in it. Also is quite possibly the #1 easiest vehicle to parallel park of all time. Seriously. Try it. The van got old and rusty and was dying of old age, and was sold for peanuts. The new owner completely restored it, and it can still be seen driving around town from time to time.

Thank thank thank you for buying this! The family Previa was my daily driver in highschool (despite my best efforts put that bed to use with various members of the opposite sex I attempted to date/woo, it never worked. Womp womp). While I didn't appreciate it at the time, being a car dad now I take any opportunity I can to tell everyone it was the supercar of minivans. Looking forward to more videos!
