From my childhood growing up on a beach in northern Queensland where we had coconut almost everyday, I can say coconut water and flesh is some of the best food. It made my mouth water to see that coconut. For me they are too expensive to buy in the grocery market but I would love to be able to have a coconut drink everyday. The prepackaged stuff is horrible. Tastes like it has gone rotten!
Many comments talk about the plastic cup, but if you have your arms full of books or shopping, you can't also hold a coconut and scrape out the flesh even though it is the best container. So I understand why this stall operator is selling it simplified into some plastic. It's so much easier. Yes unfortunately there is the trash to worry about but perhaps nowadays people are more educated about recycling those items so it doesn't end up in the waterways.

Or to or knife se nikalne me is se kum steps hai to kum effort lagta hai. Or to or knife k mukable ye machine kitna mehnga hoga. It's costlier for the coconut water seller to buy the machine than a knife.
