As somebody very new to the hobby, the different retail designs just push me further into buying singles. I'm trying to collect the Select light blue /249 because they are more affordable and everything is a bit more expensive in the UK due to availability. Great video as usual
No matter the set, singles are always the way the go. You’ll never be upset. And when you get that last card. You just feel accomplished! Good luck on collecting 👊🤙

It's called the Black not Tri-Color because last year they looked almost the same, so they did something different to differentiate it. I got 3 on Target too, not a single #'d card for me :-|

Got a couple of these and hit a 3/10 gold card some chicken I forgot but not a bad pull. Ima fan of the And New cards, look clean
I think it’s just my luck with select. 🤣 last years select blasters were crazy for Ufc though. This year…. Not sure yet.

the security tabs are 0 indication of anything whatsoever. Also, target didnt put them in the boxes then seal them with panini wrapping LOL
Maybe, however they don’t come in blasters from Walmart, or if you order a case online. It’s almost like target orders them with tabs.
The only reason I got excited was the last time I had multiple tabs, there was a #d card inside. Thanks for watching.

Think I ripped like 12 boxes of Select retail last year and got 1 numbered card + 1 auto. Never again tbh. Though the mezzanine level this year >>>>>> last year's or even the octagonside from this year

It’s a different “level” there’s 4 different tiers to base cards in select.

That’s for stopping by today Brotha, that’s the part with select that kills me, I think just just too many parallels. It’s never ending. But always fun trying to get something cool 😅🤷♂️
you can pull 1/1's /5 Gold /10 and up. All the parallels will have the flash, or differentiating color coordination for the hits. They also put Tigers ONLY in this yer's Select so that makes completing a zoo that much easier. They also cut down the number of 1/1's as well as last year there was 4 per player. True Black 1/1 Black Flash 1/1 & Black Disco 1/1

When u say don russ cards are paper, whats that mean? Ive never held one but they look glossy, just not metallic. Are prizms not printed on paper? I figured it was just like heavily laminated paper for all cards? I understand don russ is cheaper but are they like almost floppy? Super thin feeling?
donruss is like laminated paper, prizm, optic etc. is basically a shiny plastic

Pretty much what phoenix said. Donruss, chronicles are printed on a “cardboard” type paper it it semi shiny. But prizm, select, and optic are printed on what I THINK is “silicone”
You would be able to rip a donruss card but you’d need scissors for prizm or select.

The standard don russ gives u a ton of cards but most are uninteresting to me. It's a cool hobby so far tho. Thanks for the info

I’m a fan of the sport. Everyone has their preferences. I wouldn’t pay $5 for baseball because it’s boring. 🤷♂️
I dont like how you shit on all blaster boxes. I understand thats where most of your views probably come from, but the community needs blaster packs. We need people to buy them or the bottom of the market falls out. We need kids to get into it. If you make it "not cool" or ruin the fun of blasters. It eliminates the chances of new people coming into collecting at a younger age. Also ive hit Signature Taila Santos Green Pulsar & Alexander Volkanovski Champion Signature and ive only purchased 8 blaster boxes. 1/4 boxes ive hit the top card promoted in the box... Call it luck but its been just as much fun opening the packs with my family and bonding, so the 2 big hits wouldnt even matter at this point. Im not trying to be "the coolest collector" or "the guy who spent the least amount of money" that just ruins the fun and you become try hard and end up wasting just as much chasing cards your whole life.
I say it every time. Blasters are fun, but you’re likely wasting your $. If you’re cool with that. You may get lucky… and I have. But I don’t count on it. Ripping is fun either way. But if you’re looking for the coolest stuff. You’ve gotta go hobby. Thanks for watching 🤙
ALL BLASTERS is a little strong. I rated 22 select blasters the best UFC product released last year.
