It surprises me at all I can learn after 82 years of living! The picture difference this morning as I hear, “God is not in the Universe. The Universe is like a small hazelnut in God’s Hand!"- Julian of Norwich! And God cares for the little parts of the Universe - You and me! Doesn’t that give you goose bumps? Be Blessed in finding happy little surprises throughout this day!

I appreciated you comment- “ Not ‘it’ will be okay but ‘we’ will be okay!” It’s helpful to hear that spoken out loud. My pain might not be okay but in the end I will be okay because I am living the eternal life.

Oh, so many times as a Nurse, I sat with believers who passed. The one I remember first is a First Nations man. He was 43 yr. old and was dying of liver failure due to alcohol abuse. He gave his life to Jesus a couple of years ago. During his final months he never stopped talking and humming his praises to his Saviour. As he passed on his last night on this earth he mumbled, wept, smiled, grinned but could not speak. As he passed and I sat beside him holding his hand he kept looking away from me but up to a specific spot on the ceiling. I whispered in his ear; "Are you seeing Jesus or heaven or the gates of heaven?" He mumbled and then as clear as any time in his past, he said "Jesus, my Saviour!" (I still get chills and when I close my eyes, I can see that incredible smile!"
Beautiful! When God pulls back the curtain to see the invisible we cannot help but be radically changed in eternally significant ways. Thank you for this sweet fruit❤

I will look throughout my day to see who I can bless, but yesterday I was blessed. I was in a grocery store that I had never been in and couldn’t find what I was looking for. After asking a couple of strangers with no luck, I approached a group of young adults and asked them. They were so kind and took me around the store, they broke off in Search of what I needed and found it. They were so kind and I told them so…to help a stranger….i was blessed by them. ❤

Marilyn, thank you for your request. In the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up this family focused plea concerning this appeal for “salvation, healing, and reconciliation”. Holy Spirit, we ask your help in praying for each person in the appeal, as they ought. (Romans 8:26-27). And call upon You our intercessor Lord, to manifest in these hearts, let them hear your song, and help them to seek your face. Help them turn their eyes upon You, and not the wind and the waves, but instead to be still and know you are God, who is Love. Prayers for my marriage, in retirement transition, ekeing out my personal space when we are always together.
Also for a young lady who lied comatose after a terrible car accident and severe head trauma. Her grandmother is a sweet friend of mine. The anguish in the family is palpable.
We lift you up as you continue to journey your story as Jesus as your guide. We pray for God's hand to bless your marriage and be a steady light on your path as you navigate the new transition in front of you. May God give peace "beyond our understanding" as he is always with hurting that he may be present in the anguish - and assurance that he sees and is in control. Praying for his grace. Bucky

Here’s a reason to believe that God chooses to supernaturally intervene in response to some of our requests within our lifetime: he wouldn’t have told us to make our requests known to him if he never intended to grant any of them.

I have been ill for 2 years and 6 months. Doctors ran several tests etc and they have NO clue what is wrong with me. I have lost so much weight...I now weigh 115 lbs. I think I have given up on healing...I am tired and barely functioning. I would like to request prayer. Thank you for prayer!

Father God, we come before you now with praise and thanksgiving for this wonderful follower. Thank you for the blessings to meet in community, whether it be face to face or through other forms of media. God I ask you to be with the physicians and medical staff, to give them the wisdom and skill to treat this affliction. And I ask for your supernatural healing powers to go to work and heal this child of God for whatever ailment is currently attacking them. We give you all the praise and honor, in Jesus name, Amen!

A day late... My story took a turn yesterday I did not expect. An elderly neighbor in hospice passed away in the short period of time since I visited him last week. I met my neighbor's son and daughter who were already making plans to sell my neighbor's home at the same time they were making funeral arrangements. My neighbor had a live-in companion who also tended to my neighbor's needs. Later in the day, I learned the son and daughter told the companion not to attend any services for my neighbor. To say I was angry is an understatement. I wanted to do something... say something... but I am not writing the story. I did visit the companion who will be moving out next week after the funeral services. I offered comfort and assurance things will be OK. It is probably the last time I will see the companion, but it will be OK. All will be well. How do I know? The companion is a person of faith.
Thank you for blessing your neighbors companion with God's love and compassion. This season will always be part of yours and the companion's story - and yes with God in control - it is in his grace and mercy we live. Praying for your neighbors companion to continue to lift his eyes to heaven and seek his counsel. You are a blessing Bucky

My thing that is not well is relating to other people - either interpersonal or in terms of marketing.

Prayer Request Please, there is a little boy named Madison who has been in the hospital all this week with pneumonia, his right lung is not doing so well and they may have to do surgery to drain it. 🥹🙏

We come to the Throne of grace and seek mercy for Madison and from the overflowing reservoir of your grace with a generous portion for this child’s time of need.
