These Tasty Fish Have Moved into the rivers

It is the last week of October and the water has started to cool down but it’s still in the mid 70’s. I am headed back into the rivers to see if these tasty fish have moved in from Mobile Bay.

Beautiful day fishing on the river.
Love the ideal of checking the salinity of the river. With the lack of any major rainfall this month the salt water intrusion is coming up further into the bay and into the rivers.

So if it's high salinity do you fish there or go up river because the Gulf doesn't produce fresh water that I know of . If the Trout seek fresh water then they must be up in Guntersville Lake

@jimmyfumbanks6081 during a drought the specks do push far up the rivers. they like to have a least 5ppt salinity. If the bait is there I have seen specks caught as far up as the I-65 bridge. The specks are following the shrimp.
