Congrats on the new trailer! I’m going to miss watching new modifications on the pop up camper.

Thanks! Time for a new project - the camper was complete. I did upgrade the Awning, shot a video of it - just haven't edited it, I don't know if I will.

Not quite “drop in” for many trailer owners. Back feeding from the lithium battery to the lower voltage tow vehicle battery, having adequate gauge wires, older MaxFans are not compatible with the higher 14.4 charging volts, a voltage regulator of some type would be needed. The converter auto detect features are not quite auto detect, there is a particular process that has to be followed. Anyway, after all the prep work is done, a lithium upgrade is well worth the extra effort.

You may want to reconsider only strapping the battery box down to the tongue. I drilled through the bottom of my camco box and bolted it. The straps looped around to hold the lid on. On a recent trip, the straps somehow came loose and I lost the lid off of one of my camco boxes. If the strap is the only thing holding your battery down, it might decide to take flight on the highway somewhere.

I'll be moving the battery under the bed shortly, thanks for the heads up!

Not related, but have you thought about the lippert bolt on shocks for our campers? Just got back from Colorado and want to aid in the bounce across I 70.

You *really* need a high-AIC catastrophic fuse on these lithium batteries. ANL or Class T. There's a whole lot of power in these, they shouldn't really be called "drop in" replacements ... they have distinct requirements.

@@pmcallister there is a class T fuse in front of my inverter & I’ll be moving the battery under my bed, where I’ll be adding a 250aml terminal fuse directly to the battery.
