- Welcome, everyone! I hope you enjoy the start of my Road to Elite Smash! This series is edited in a bit of a long-form way to emulate the magic of Story for Glory with a tad bit more editing. This series would've had a clever rhyme in the title, but I couldn't find any good rhyme with Elite... To Beat Elite? My Elite Meat? Beep Beep Elite Yeet? See... nothing is good.

Yo Alpha, if you like suffering, I dare you to try to get Sheik in Elite Smash next.
Shiek benefits more than most from items. She tends to win neutral, has stage control but has trouble doing damage and killing. Items let you convert stage control to damage and kill potential. She's also really fast, so she has a good chance of just getting to the items faster.

daisy: is a peach clone with different animations and taunts (not helpful) and _slightly_ different knockback scaling on _specificaly_ turnips. no other differences.

dark pit: has at least two different attacks that actually have a major effect, with the arrows being less controlled but doing more damage and a different side b. also has unique taunts (not helpful, but no) and a different final smash (it was cloned from Zelda in sm4sh but Zelda's final smash was changed so now its unique. Also, Chrom having Roy's moves and Ike's up-b isn't new because dark pit had pit's moves and Zelda's final smash)

When you let the one kid get a free kill on you, it reminded me of the time I joined a random arena that had one semi decent player and one really bad player, so that made 3 of us total. I felt bad because the bad player kept sding and losing so throughout matches I would purposely land in one of his MANY MANY chucked out f-smashes to give him kills and take a few matches. It sucks being the under skilled player in an arena so hopefully that gave him some confidence and happiness.

And King Dedede has attacks specifically designed for the landing on of heads (such as Dark Pit's while using the Guardian Orbitars, his only continuous reflector), and the Guardian Orbitars also run out before Kyogre does anyway.

Dark Pit uses his staff exactly once in the videogame he's from.
It's not exactly special.

He also uses a bunch of other weapons in that level during a series of battles where he's a miniboss, and it's only even a chance that he'll use the staff, so you can go the whole game without him ever using it. Meanwhile, he is guaranteed to use the Silver Bow on at least 3 seperate occasions, one of those being his "true" bossfight at the end of his chapter.
Yea but the staff is named after him I wish I had a staff named after me 😭 and pittoos character selection screen pose (whatever you call it) he’s holding his staff.
@@blakeeielrs8018 A lot of characters have weapons named after them in that game tho. And none if them have any significance to the character they're named after, except in the flavor text.
The Dark Pit staff being so closely associated with Dark Pit (it's in his portrait, final smash, and winposes) was likely done to differentiate him with Pit in smash, without making him any less of a clone.
(But it'd be cool if it could've been his side B)

Imagine how less toxic pittoo players would be if his side b was different. Yea I can see what you mean about the KIU weapons. The only weapon other weapon that does have something to do with the character it’s named after is the palutena bow that palutena gives pit. I wanna cool bow too...
