Idk why but something about this song just makes it a perfect match for the overall theme of Halo(Especially during the Human-Covenant War and if you read the books).
The overall tone of the Soldiers never being broken, never giving up and always sticking side by side is inspiring, yet also very truthful to the overall theme within the Halo Books, especially with the Spartans.
I’m aware? I’m speaking about the Books as well which very much tie themselves within Halo’s Canon/Universe.

It is the first shooter game/non car game that I played. At the age of 7 my dad handed me Halo CE from OG Xbox and told me to play it. This was a decade ago. And I still have the same disc and Xbox 360 console I played it on. Halo is where I got interested in sci-fi, guns etc.

The flood actually scares him. Read the books. He was almost killed/changed by a flood spore in the first Halo. Cortana saved him by overcharging his shield. He just doesn't let that fear consume him or get in the way of the mission.
