Das sind nicht die Schranken, sondern das ist die Feder am Antrieb vorne. Weil da kein Platz für das normale Gegengewicht ist.

Ah, das Symbol für Fußgänger und Radfahrer ist bei BÜs selten. Aber die Feder an der Schranke noch mehr, hatte die bisher bei keiner neuen Anlage gesehen, nur bei alten. Und der Zug ist ja schnell da, nachdem die Schranken zu sind.

Sie mussten bei unserem BÜ in Kolbermoor ein zusätzliches Lichtsignal mit dem Fußgängersymbol auf die Fußgängerinsel vor dem BÜ bauen. Erst seitdem fahren die Züge kein Schritttempo mehr, wenn sie über den BÜ müssen.

The crossing gate desperately needs a shot of lubricating oil. The shriek of tortured metal is ear-piercing. If rusting from rain continues much longer, the gate could seize-up in the open position, with disastrous consequences.

Yup. The Ampel becomes green again before the bahnübergang activates, so the cars can leave the BÜ :-)
