The USS Enterprise crew explores the furthest reaches of uncharted space, where they encounter a new ruthless enemy who puts them and everything the Federation stands for to the test.
Star Trek Beyond stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, the late, much-lamented Anton Yelchin and John Cho along with some new (and some scary) faces with Idris Elba, Sofia Boutella and Joe Taslim showing up.
J.J. Abrams produces, with Fast & Furious director Justin Lin at the helm, with a script by Simon Pegg and Doug Jung.
The movie is out on the 22nd of July, only a few weeks before the Star Trek franchise celebrates its 50th anniversary.

Sofia did mention in a previous interview that she was nervous because she is sort of an up-and-comer and hadn't been involved in a huge blockbuster like this before, so it's possible that she was struggling with the press junket part of it all. I've seen 3 different interviews so far and they are in the same clothes, with the same back drop, so who knows exactly how long they are stuck in one spot answering questions that she, as the newcomer, might not have a lot to say about. She can't talk about the differences between JJ and Lin, she can't talk about the evolution of her character, yada yada, but she's the fresh blood so interviewers want her involved. I think it's cute that Pine and Quinto were bolstering her up through it.
They seem very protective of Sofia and they all have a sibling vibe going on. I love it!
You can tell they're all close and tired and it must be long days of interviews. People get touchy and giddy when they're tired and I'm sure it helps that they're around each other.
True. This is just one of a whole slew of interviews they had to do that day. It's amusing to watch them all and try to figured out the timeframe by how they behave.

Zachary is very articulate in all of these interviews. I don't know if he's rehearsed his responses ahead of time or not (or if he is just answering the same questions over and over again), but his answers are incredibly thoughtful and relevant.

I think people may be reading to much into Sofia's reactions. To me she just looks like an actress who is not used to such big and long press junkets. I have seen about 10 interviews from this day alone. If that were me I would prob be on the floor asleep.

They're so cute the three of them together, she looks really nervous & tense and they're giving her all this silent support through touching her and putting their arms around her. At 3:58 she leans against Chris and he gives her arm a little squeeze. In another interview clip with the three of them Chris is actually tickling her at one point.
