It is mostly the increase in government charges that are causing inflation, my rental property just got slugged an additional $500 land tax... the council rates are rising and all the required safety check fees, insurance and management fees are rising... so how does that not increase rents...and that is before mortgage interest rates rises are factored in!
While at the same time the little guys are being screwed, we hear the government has failed to charge the billions of dollars of royalties on all the natural gas being sold overseas cheaper than we get it here!
Wouldn't it be nice to have a government that is working in the best interests of it population rather than trying to swindle them...
Our taxes, our rates, our gas and electricity, our fuel, are all about double the price in the USA... and other countries! That is the result of not having a basic bill of rights that can protect individuals in every day dealings of life!

The peeps who voted these are hats in should have their Interest increase and not the rest of us.
Why do we always have these cycles where Liberals, who I don't like that much, get voted in for a couple terms, they then have years of work to fix all the crap Labour has caused from just a short amount of time. The Libs get towards the end of it and sort things out and peeps get sick of it as it requires hardships to fix, so peeps vote Labour back in who promise them everything they think they want you to hear, to just rinse repeat the whole dam thing.
We really need a better way forward then this crap.

They didn’t inherit a great situation, but can’t think of anyone worse than Jimmy to fix it! Facts speak for themselves, but they will stick to their narrative, no matter what.
