Don’t pack too much stuff girl! I did that and ended up having to buy another bag to check because I bought so much clothing. You’re going to looooove the fashion there and I promise you you’ll regret not having more space in your bags! Also bring a jacket, it’ll be worth it in the end, I ended up wearing my north face.

For future study abroad students, please pack light as light as possible. Trust me, after all my years of studying abroad as an undergrad, you’re gonna buy a lot of stuff from your host country and you definitely need room for those. Don’t waste your money on sending back your stuff through mail, I’ve encountered A LOT of students who has done it. You might as well spend that money for extra travel or food but if you got the money, it’s up to you dude or dudette.

Duuudes. Where I live it can get to be -24°C in the winter and feel like 45° in the summer. A few winters ago we also got 23 cm of snow. I'm sure in Australia summers are much worse than here, but our winters are definitely much worse. 😂

WHAT in the actual f***. LOL, I got some cute burgundy ones as a gift and found out later they were SEVENTY BUCKS. I met the friend who gave them to me to go for a run in the park and she was like, "Aw, I thought you'd wear my gift." I said to her, "HUH? F***, no, I'm not sweating in those!!!" 😂🤣 Just, wowwww...
currently studying abroad in Sydney rn, and can confirm it’s cheaper in Australia compared to the states because of the exchange rate and the fact that the tax is built in. It’s around $10-$15 cheaper here than in the states!
I went study abroad in the UK before and it was so much fun. Immersing in different cultures, exploring around the city, it’s so exciting, not to mention meeting new people.
I haven’t been to Australia before, I wish one day I could . Have fun in Australia! Can’t wait for your Australia vlogs!

Packing cubes and lists are the best way to help you to get more organized and u can enjoy your vacation a lot more easier to organize your own suitcase plus it will help you to see where everything is going to lay in the case.
Really relate to the limited packing space🙋 I just moved to study abroad in Wisconsin and the big and bulky winter clothes took up all the space for me. Have fun in Australia!💕

vacuum bags!! my dad uses them during long deployments they help so much!
If you're ever trying to pack a lot of clothes into a small suitcase I recommend using vacuum-sealed bags :) I was able to get a lot more in with them. Especially for coats and thicker jackets or sweaters :)

I always feel it’s better to over-pack than under-pack. Half the time, I want to wear something else or bring extras just in case. 😅

Hey! Be careful, Sydney is actually colder than you think. I've been there in late november and it was pretty chilly. You might wanna bring that black cardigan of yours
You can also buy what you forget over here so don’t overpack ! Just bring what you need I suggest lots of comfy pants, tops, cardigans, jumpers & jackets and a few nice going outside things xx

Bring a rain jacket if you are coming to Melbourne or Sydney, it can rain quite a bit here. I live in NSW and between January and June it does get quite cold but also some lovely warm weather as well.

Space savers ziplock bags & an USA space saver vacuum could have helped you with packing your clothes & saved so much more space than the luggage cubes. You could have saved the space & used the luggage cubes for other items like your feminine hygiene items & makeup products ( facial masks products), jewelry items, first aid supplies, etc.
I use space savers ziplock bags with an USB space saver vacuum & trust me I do alot of travel between my house in Houston Texas & my house in Alexandria Egypt.🎉❤😊

Bit of advice for everyone, dont put only shoes in your carry-on, its the only bag you're sure of. Your other bags might be delayed or even lost, then your in another country with only a bunch of shoes.
