I got home from church, and I'm happy to see you've uploaded. I'm so happy that your dad is finally open to your bf. It's truly a gift to have a father who protects his little girl. I don't think you should dye your hair dark bc you've done so much work to not overprocess it and if you did dye it a dark color just think how much damage it would cause to fix it. You have to be 100% certain you want it.

If you want to try it again I recommend a thicker gel and you want to apply the saran wrap and try to push it together with your tool so you have peaks. You will do it once and see that it's easy with the right product. ❤
The half and half hair would look SO good on you. However, the pink is my favorite ❤️ this set turned out so cute and I love the glitter you used...I'm gonna have to get some. I'm so glad your dad is making an effort. Give him a few months, and he'll secretly wonder why he didn't allow you to have him over sooner.
you could put some wet clear acrylic on your nail then dip the brush in the glitter and pat it in, you would use less glitter that way and place it more precisely ❤
I think the nails look great! I think the only issue that is disappointing you is that your clear acrylic isn’t perfectly clear which is dulling the color. You should test out a few brands. Even so, I think they are adorable and I will definitely try the icicles because it really added a nice touch. 💜

Hey cutie!!!! I love my pana brush and I’m a beginner well I’ve been doing nails for 3 years but not all the time still consider myself a beginner but I always soak my brush in clean monomer for a few minutes after using it unless it has acrylic stuck in it then I do it longer plus I always put cuticle oil on my hairs to keep them hydrated after I’m done and I’ve had the same brush for a few years and still going strong
Hey boo! Love the video. This set came out so good. There are some "clear" acrylics that are a little cloudy! There are some that are more crystal clear depending on the brand. I read somewhere too that when you use clear, you want to touch it very minimally to keep it extra extra clear! 💕💕💕 Definitely gave me the itch to give myself glitter nails lol!!
Love the pink. Plus I have dark hair and was told by but I can that going extra light would be very hard on my hair. But as I always say... You do you. I love ya no matter your hair color.

I did that a lot when I wanted a hairstyle but was not fully committed to actually doing it. I think these nails were good. I will agree the icicle idea was hard to see but the set was pretty. Weird tip! Freezing plastic wrap will prevent it from sticking together until it's warmed up. So usually by the time you cut it and stretch it over the item you want to be covered, it will be warmed up and start sticking to itself again. Can also do semi-permanent brown dye so it will last about 2 weeks. Just to try that two-tone style and it won't be as permanent.
Hello hello!! So, firstly, I'm so excited to hear that things are going well with Kevin and your dad. It's good that he is getting past things and maybe seeing Kevin is a good thing for you and it should be encouraged. :) Keep those progress updates coming! Secondly, the hair will be very high maintenance if you do half and half with color on the light half (as opposed to just lightening to blonde), but if you enjoy that then it could work for you. As someone who is quite fair and gray eyed, I tried dying my ash blonde hair black once and while my roots aren't as dark as you I wasn't platinum so I thought grow-out would be OK and I totally hated it... looked so weird, like a skunk. Very different to having dark roots with light ends... not sure why. lol However, for a couple of weeks it was so fun having coal-black hair. I got so many compliments on it, and people would gush about my eyes. Back to my regular color now with demi-permanent weave and much happier with an easy grow-out. Third, I think your nails came out cute! I feel like the Saviland might not be as clear as needed for these, though? Not sure, I'm not an expert with acrylic at all. Girl split colors are a lot of work to maintain! I was spilt colored for like almost 10 years! The coolers changed but it was always two different colors and girl it was a lot of work trying to keep the colors from bleeding into each other. But I loved it. I started off blonde and red, then eventually went blonde and black! Then red and black! At one point it was hot pink and cyan blue! Then I have done tri-color orange hot pink and purple.
I would love to see you do a similar process but with gel! I prefer working with gel and I wonder how it would look with gel rather than acrylic. I’d really like to see which process you prefer 🤍

I really like your hair now so much.i think it would be cute and the upkeep is insanely hard. I had half black and half mint green and it was insane how hard it was to keep from bleeding into the mint. If you can’t stand really really cold water then you’re definitely not gonna be able to keep it from bleeding. But it is a cute look if you are really dedicated to it.

Coming from a girl who had split hair with one side black - don’t do it lol It’s so hard on your hair when you decide to remove it. I like your idea of doing the split dye for a bit before going back dark all over!
I might be wrong BUT I think the underneath has to be thicker gel with the Saran Wrap pressed into it so the crevices and crannies can be deeper- making it more defined and noticeable. I think 😂 don’t hold me to it. I haven’t actually done it myself. Maybe try it on a practice nail so you don’t ever have to “waste” a set again. BUT THIS SET IS STILL CUTE 🫶🏾🩷 Xo - JG

To do the icicle effect it’s better to use a thick gel consistency like rhinestone glue gel , poly gel some sort of a thicker gel etc.. for the icicle effect can pop better lol. I’m the worst explainer ever haha 😅

@@AnneElizabethNails Yeah they put stuff in the bristles to keep it from getting bent/deformed until it's used. Gently roll the bristles between your fingers, and also flick your finger back and forth through them. You should be able to see some white stuff or dust looking stuff come off a new brush.

Girl split colors are a lot of work to maintain! I was spilt colored for like almost 10 years! The coolers changed but it was always two different colors and girl it was a lot of work trying to keep the colors from bleeding into each other. But I loved it. I started off blonde and red, then eventually went blonde and black! Then red and black! At one point it was hot pink and cyan blue! Then I have done tri-color orange hot pink and purple.

I really like your hair now so much.i think it would be cute and the upkeep is insanely hard. I had half black and half mint green and it was insane how hard it was to keep from bleeding into the mint. If you can’t stand really really cold water then you’re definitely not gonna be able to keep it from bleeding. But it is a cute look if you are really dedicated to it.

I might be wrong BUT I think the underneath has to be thicker gel with the Saran Wrap pressed into it so the crevices and crannies can be deeper- making it more defined and noticeable. I think 😂 don’t hold me to it. I haven’t actually done it myself. Maybe try it on a practice nail so you don’t ever have to “waste” a set again. BUT THIS SET IS STILL CUTE 🫶🏾🩷 Xo - JG

To do the icicle effect it’s better to use a thick gel consistency like rhinestone glue gel , poly gel some sort of a thicker gel etc.. for the icicle effect can pop better lol. I’m the worst explainer ever haha 😅

@@AnneElizabethNails Yeah they put stuff in the bristles to keep it from getting bent/deformed until it's used. Gently roll the bristles between your fingers, and also flick your finger back and forth through them. You should be able to see some white stuff or dust looking stuff come off a new brush.
