Seeing David develop over the years has truly been a treat. He went from closed off, kinda dickish, and not good at expressing his feelings to a kind, vulnerable, and sweet man. The capacity has always been there, but seeing him slowly become more open to talking about his feelings, showing himself so truly and openly to Angel and at times the pack, and acknowledging that he may not have been the best at all times in the past is such a beautiful thing. You've truly done such a wonderful job developing this character and his relationship to Angel

IM ACTUALLY GOING TO BURST INTO TEARS?!? i def thought milo and sweetheart would be the first duo to get engaged but damn I was wrong, but i’m so glad I was. Our beloved Davey has made it so far and i’m so proud of him. He went from being an isolated stranger who accused us of stalking him to allowing himself to be vulnerable and affectionate. Erik has done such a good job evolving this character it’s scary, but in the best way possible. Cant wait to have this on repeat.

So, I know that David made a joke about how Angel didn't change over the last few years, the shameless flirting aside, but I am so delighted about how much David and Angel both changed as characters over the years.
If we go back to the first video that was made about David, there was absolutely no way that the man that was shown in that video would ever consider being this emotional vulnerable with someone, even Angel. There was no way that the Angel back then would be patient enough to let David go through his thought process and explain his feelings regarding Angel and then accept this explanation. I love both David and Angel and I am so glad that they are a part in their story, in their relationship that they are so in love with each other that it makes total sense that they are at a point in their life where David would propose and I am so sure that they will manage to stay together and love each other. They will work out their issue together and grow as people together and I am so excited to see more of their story.
I am going to start intensely sobbing omfg imagine if David going through the winter solstice gave him confidence to propose. 😂
